Having fond memories of games like Archon I&II, Adventure Construction Set, Mail Order Monsters, Bards Tale I-III, Heart of Africa, Hard Hat Mack, M.U.L.E., Marble Madness, Neuromancer, Racing Destruction Set, Skyfox, Realm of Impossibility (one of my all time favourite games) and Battlechess.

 

They also published a game called Wasteland, which I unfortunately never found in a store :)

I remember some of those titles! Racing Destruction Set was a blast. They should remake it with a modern engine, and M.U.L.E. too.

EA sucks. Good for "sport" console games. RPGs is not or ever will be their niche.

What have they done lately?

I enjoy Command & Conquer 3 and Battlefield 2142. Only games I've purchased from EA in a while.

every year comes a new madden and almost every damn month of the year comes a sims 2 expansion pack

I was actually pleasantly surprised with how good command and conquer 3 was. I was disappointed with generals and thought that EA would screw up the main series but i must say that i really enjoyed the game. Now they need to pleasantly surprise me again with a high quality Dungeon Keeper 3 heh heh.

I'll go with Obsidian. They can do what they were trying to do with Van Buren, only with a more efficient engine so they don't have as many headaches.

The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.

Personally l enjoy bioware's games but Obsidian does make some decent ones too. I guess my first choice would be Bioware and second Obsidian.

My choice is Obsidian because people who worked on Fallout(s) and still are in CRPG industry work in Obsidian.

 

Don't get me wrong, Bioware rocks too, but I'm not so sure Fallout would be their kind of game (besides, Avellone must get something for all the wasted plans he did for Fallout games :lol: )

Battlefields 1942. In New Zealand, they are also the distrubutors for a number of overseas companies. Kotor2 had an EA logo on the shrink wrap as well as an EA Direct contact card inside the box :aiee:

 

Edit: I haven't played them myself, but I've been told that there are people out there who likes Dungeon Keeper II, Max Payne, Medal of Honour, Freedom Force, 1503AD, Delta Force, System Shock 2, Sid Meiers Alpha Centauri and the Lord of the Rings games (I cheated and looked at a list of games for the last 4 years)

Obsidian would be interesting, if just to let the devs work on a Mature rated game. I'd rather they did a Vampire: The Requiem but Fallout's cool too. Plus I know many of them like Fallout.

See what I did there? I took a fraction of the games developed by the company, and used it as a representation of all the games made by said company. But I guess this late in the game we don't need people to point out Hades' irrational over-generalizations.
