Hey, even DNF is still ongoing project.

I'll go out on a limb and state that the hype machine of DNF will start sometime in 2008.

DNF Release: Spring 2027

I heard rumors that they've pushed it back to Summer 2027, possibly Fall 2027 to have some extra time for polishing. I hope that's not true, because all that waiting makes the fanboys angry.

18 days... i just hope my comp can run it. despite not looking quite up to date, i bet its a real resource hog.

I've read somewhere (don't remember where) that it runs smoothly on older hardware.

Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

Interesting review, but i'll wait for some more reviews from fellow forumites before i would consider buying it.

I'm still worried about the playability and bugginess of the game, but it's been so long since I bought a new game that I really don't care. Even if its a complete disaster, I'm only out $40 US, which would be the total amount of money I've spent on computer gaming during the last 12 months.

I had visions of a gruff, unkept guy in an anorak hidden in a mound of snow waiting to get the drop on the mailman.

Sweet god I finally decided to watch that video and it was ridiculously big! Anyway, that was very stupid thing to do. :)
