Judge Hades
Dragonfly - Cruxshadows "Don't ask me to surrender" Her voice fell tired and spent "My hopes and dreams, a silent heart I carry here within" her outstretched wings, left tattered A sail aged with rust "a breath in time, that's yours and mine... it belongs to only us" And I will write her name and cast it to the sky silhouettes recede into a mother's tearful eyes a host of angels clamor to her side a light dissolves to kiss the wind release the dragonfly See the rose within the field of white She's searching for the grail but the rain descends to snatch the light from distant dying suns a faint resounding in the night calls angels wings to beat singing silent lip-sewn songs but the distance is too deep .. And I will write her name and cast it to the sky silhouettes recede into a mother's tearful eyes a host of angels clamor to her side a night dissolved to kiss the wind release the dragonfly And I will write her name and cast it to the sky as precious moments will slip away in time angels fall from grace, and sometimes heroes die but tonight, my love, ascend the gates, release the dragonfly "sometimes angels fall, but love will never die tonight my soul is something more" - calls the dragonfly. Judge Hades
Citadel - Cruxshadows Languid waves of desperation fall before the rains A vanguard to approaching war is borne upon the sea The icy breath of cyclones bent on waging our destruction Drills hard against the hearts of heroes called here to defend I see storms on the horizon I see the tempest at the gates I see storms on the horizon, and a citadel alone Clinging brave, defying fate And I will stand here at the gates to face the onslaught fighting Without surrender or defeat With Troy besieged by tyrants' greed - (tyranny) In Hector's memory, God willing We shall save this victory Without surrender or defeat Sudden silence - I realize breaking teardrops in the rain With every breathing moment the pillars are sustained And waking hands attached to nothing tightly clutching close Each sleeping vision speaks unheard and heaven only knows (exactly why) Paris' arrow landed true Paris' arrow landed true Paris' arrow landed true Down upon your heel... This Troy... she will not fall again This Troy... she will not fall!
Baley
It's four in the morning, the end of December I'm writing you now just to see if you're better New York is cold, but I like where I'm living There's music on Clinton Street all through the evening. I hear that you're building your little house deep in the desert You're living for nothing now, I hope you're keeping some kind of record. Yes, and Jane came by with a lock of your hair She said that you gave it to her That night that you planned to go clear Did you ever go clear? Ah, the last time we saw you you looked so much older Your famous blue raincoat was torn at the shoulder You'd been to the station to meet every train And you came home without Lili Marlene And you treated my woman to a flake of your life And when she came back she was nobody's wife. Well I see you there with the rose in your teeth One more thin gypsy thief Well I see Jane's awake -- She sends her regards. And what can I tell you my brother, my killer What can I possibly say? I guess that I miss you, I guess I forgive you I'm glad you stood in my way. If you ever come by here, for Jane or for me Your enemy is sleeping, and his woman is free. Yes, and thanks, for the trouble you took from her eyes I thought it was there for good so I never tried. And Jane came by with a lock of your hair She said that you gave it to her That night that you planned to go clear -- Sincerely, L. Cohen

Judge Hades
I do not want to know what Baley did to you to cool you off. Return - Cruxshadows I've seen the terrible hand of struggle and felt the pain the hubris brings I have tasted the wisdom of divinity and the horror of its sting And though they tell you i am lost and their words report my death is come the fates have left me breathing still very much alive And though my mind is cut by battles fought so long ago I return victorious I am coming home And if the paths that I have followed have tread against the flow there is no need for sorrow I am coming home For the distance I have traveled upon an ocean of despair have led me back into your arms once more an answer to a little prayer And though they tell you i am lost and their words report my death is come the fates have left me breathing still very much alive And though my mind is cut by battles fought so long ago I return victorious I am coming home And if the paths that I have followed have tread against the flow there is no need for sorrow I am coming home Edited October 12, 2006 by Judge Hades

Darth Drabek
Afterhours - The Thin White Line My friend and I had a conversation with the keyboardist and guitarist for these guys over a few beers after their show had ended. It was a mixture of broken Spanish on our part and broken English on theirs. My buddy is a worldly fella, so he was actually able to have a decent conversation with them about Italian politics. I mostly just smiled, nodded and listened through that part, heh. I hear they are very big in Europe. Can anyone confirm or rebut this? I'm curious, because I saw them in a very small club here in the U.S. baby, take off your beret everyone's a critic and most people are DJs
