Wow... Wow. Thank you for the link; I've always loved that song, too (and the rest of Greetings from Asbury Park). My parents (who were a couple of years behind him at the same high school) keep telling me how amazing Bruce was live back in the day. Stuff like that clip makes me think twice before dismissing it as nostalgia.

God, I love those Springsteen epics. That "Jungleland" vid is great. I didn't see him live until the E Street band tour promoting the Rising. Fantastic show, best I've ever seen, but to see him in a small venue like that when the band still was still young and taking risks would have been one hell of an experience.

 

Speaking of small clubs, The Lemonheads are coming to a small venue in Cleveland in December AND it's on a weekend!
