Beatles - Oh! Darling

Is that from Abbey Road?

One of the greatest metal songs ever. So slow, yet so rocking.

Omnium Gatherum - The Nolan's Fati

For how long have they done thy will

"The sun of midnight is ever the son"

How much it takes to see what burns our skin

Oh what have we achieved by this

Words are spoken and things are done, What is wrong

God is damned but god's animal mother is alright

"I can't find myself, Don't need this anymore"

(Well, At least my mother has faith in magic)

The loss of strength could not have me

Asinine and golden I ride to this city

While by our lady precious chaos rules

For how long has all been in dirt

Let's hope it rains, I think they're dying or is it just me

Well, At least the stars gave birth to something new

But if it's the kind of love and it's the kind of love

That we've been warned about, They're in trouble

And the stakes are high as that of Bruno's

For all the humble tyrants nowadays

Is it better to keep on singing

"Your paths were never even close to mine"

When I was cast aside I thought it'd be my fate

With hollow eyes Proserpina's garden is left behind

And the stakes are high as that of Bruno's

For all the humble tyrants nowadays

Is it better to keep on singing

"Your paths were never even close to mine"

\,,/ listen to it

Yes. Side A, right between Maxwell's Silver Hammer and Octopus' Garden.

Mingus - E's Flat Ah's Flat Too

Mingus had a great flair for naming tunes. (My personal favorite of his based on name alone is either "The Shoes of the Fisherman's Wife are some Jive-ass Slippers" or "Don't be Afraid, the Clown's Afraid Too")

Angel's Punishment - Lacuna Coil

Destruction

War

To fight in defence

Forgotten words

of friendly hate

war - destruction

war - destruction

I don't know why

A soul deceased

A broken hope

A choking breeze

war - destruction

war - destruction

Can't you take me away from your lies?

Can't you take me away from your lies?

Destruction

Dark paradise

Collecting souls

To analize

war - destruction

war - destruction

The bitter blood

of a children's cry

inside the truth

far from my sky

war - destruction

war - destruction

Can't you take me away from your lies?

Can't you take me away from your lies?

Can't you take me away from your lies?

Can't you take me away from your lies?

Can't you take me

Can't you take me

Can't you take me

Can't you take me

There was a time where I could adlib the entire acoustic intro to that classic.  Not THIS extended acoustic samurai intro, of course.

Seriously, there have never been any better female rockers than Heart. And Nancy Wilson was one fine piece of tail, so that's another point in their favor.

Definitley. I have this Heart poster I've had since I was a kid, it's really nice, if you catch my meaning.

But yes, in terms of girl rock, Heart will always have to be the best one.

Oh, and Karka, Iced Earth is great. Horror Show is my fave album.

Pink Floyd- Shine on You Crazy Diamond

I'm listening to Wish You Were Here alot.

Prodigy - Baby's Got A Temper.

Just because you're a bit thinner than your even fatter mum it doesn't mean you're in excellent physical shape, if you could fit through the door and view the normal people you'd notice that cheeseburger boy. Squid suck.

I will second that. Iced Earth is one of the best-kept secrets in the 'verse and Horrow Show is probably their best offering.

Demons and Wizards (a side project of both Iced Earth and Blind Guardian) is also very good.

This is power metal at its finest and really doesn't have much in common with bands like Slayer. Sure, they may touch on some dark themes but the overall perspective is much different. The overall feel is positive.

LA Guns "One More Reason"

Angel mercy, tears like rain

Hurt so good, can't feel no pain

Paint it black, drives me insane

So far gone I'm not the same

You give me one more reason

One more reason to die

Yo'be blood with no regrets

English words, they won't forget

Crimes of passion, cigarettes

Move by night he won't suspect

That you give me one more reason

One more reason to die

And I ask myself the same question

Every night

What makes me restless

What makes me fight

Car ahead eliminate

Smoking gun

That sealed their fate

Flesh and blood to instigate

85 dollars

Ain't she great

You give me one more reason

One more reason to die

I was making my leaps of logic based strictly on the lyrical content. You know, the whole "God is bad. He makes people fight each other" motif that someone seems to inject into every thread.

Anyway,

The Cars - My Best Friend's Girl

Edit: and I forgot to note that Kirottu is taking a little walk to edge of town and across the tracks... to where the viaduct looms like a bird of doom, etc. etc.

I can't say that I have, DD.

And I can remember when the Singles soundtrack came out. Everyone was like ' there's a new puuuurl jam song on there! OMG!!'. To which I would reply ' but there's two better songs than that by Paul Westerberg on there as well, and a kickass Jimi Hendrix ballad'.

Lou Reed - Romeo Had Juliette

That and To Be The One really made that album for me.

Neil Young ~ The Needle and the Damage Done(live)

People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.

Aphex Twin - Acrid Avid Jam Shred

Coil - The Lost Rivers of London

A Perfect Circle - Let's Have a War

I used to listen to this stuff when I was in Paris. Got the Coil in the Virgin Megastore up there, which is lucky, because Coil is ****ing nowhere in the US. I can still listen to it and think of the Ecole Militaire, going to bed at 10 and getting up at 6, croissants in the morning and walks to the Eiffel Tower. And the food court at the Louvre, because I wouldn't eat anywhere else, being an American  God, I wish I could go back. It's one of those things I just wish I could do, once before I die, but how could I possibly manage it?

Eight years of french in school for me provided these results : Je dois aller a la salle de bain. With a couple accent a goo's missing in there as well.

That Thing You Do, The Wonders. Slightly annoying yet somehow...catchy and upbeat.
