One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.

Today I listened to two leaked albums:

Audioslave - Revelations

I am pleasantly surprised. The only song of it that is actually absolutely terrible is the single. Some of them are pretty good. There's a lot of filler but it's passable. I like the title track. They don't rock out like on their debut, but it's a lot better than 'Out Of Exile'.

Iron Maiden - A Matter Of Life And Death

Yes, I know it's already out, but I had downloaded it a couple of days before it came out. I just hadn't gotten around to listening to it. It kicks quite a bit of ass, but I knew that already. This is a good album for people who, like me, had absolutely no problem with Brave New World and Dance Of Death.

How's the new(ish) SD, Kor?

I listened to the new Audioslave today. Some songs seemed pretty good, others seemed pretty mediocre, but overall it seems to be better than the last album.

Link me with something decent, my cds are absent here and it's really hard to just come up with something to listen on a school computer.

Edit: Almost forgot. Please.

One of the things about Mike Ness and SD is that you always know pretty much what they're going to sound like. It's like he knows what he's good at and doesn't stray too far from the formula. That being said, I like this batch of songs.

Social Distortion - NIckles and Dimes

There's some good links in there. YouTube seems to be down for me anyway though, or else I'd find something fresh for ya, Mus.

for what?

While doing some shopping after work I found Genius: The Best Of Warren Zevon for under seventeen bucks!  I was one of 'those people' who only knew him for

.  But thanks to DD, I've been introduced to a really brilliant songwriter.

Warren Zevon  -

Oh man, I remember seeing that show on Letterman. That was the first time I saw WZ do anything but "Werewolves." Dave gave him the entire show to talk and play music. He was a big fan. Nice find, Kor!

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band - Prove it All Night

Live in 1978. Man, the Boss could shred that Tele back in the day. (w00t)

The Lemonheads - Bit Part

Radiohead -- Karma Police

My housemate just got a DVD with it, never saw the music video before, pretty funny really.

I'm gonna have to pick up that Social D album... maybe at the show.

Oh and is the Karma Police video any weirder than the Paranoid Android video? Because I swear I had nightmares after I first saw that thing...

I dunno, I've never really listened to Radiohead, I've got a housemate now who mopes around and tells me how great Radiohead is atleast twice a day, and thinks it would be really "cool" if we learned some of their songs so he can live out some mastubatory fantasies. On the other hands I've notice he always has atleast two girls in the house, so his angle can't be totally wrong.
