Arkan Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 (edited) http://www.joystiq.com/2006/08/17/r-i-p-tony-jay/ Good sir. You may not know his face, but actor Tony Jay has provided his voice for dozens of characters, including Rugrats (Dr. Lip****z), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Judge Claude Frollo), and a multitude of video games. On August 13, Jay failed to recover from micro surgery to remove a non cancerous tumor from his lungs and passed away. Here are some of his notable gaming highlights: World of Warcraft (Narrator) X-Men Legends (Magneto) Bard's Tale (Narrator) Return to Castle Wolfenstein (The Director) Legacy of Kain series (Elder God) Fallout series (various) Rest in peace. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." - Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials "I have also been slowly coming to the realisation that knowledge and happiness are not necessarily coincident, and quite often mutually exclusive" - meta
Volourn Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 (edited) Always sad when someone dies; but never heard of him and outside of FO, his lists of games are unimpressive to me. Edited August 18, 2006 by Volourn DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.

Musopticon? Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Jay was one of my fave game voices. A real character. Recitatet in pacem. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai. So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds
