alanschu
At will means unlimited usage? It sort of reminds me of the Sorceror, though he just gets mage spells.
Darque
At will as in at will. I could use it every round all day long and never run out That's far greater than the Sorcerer's 6 times per day per spellslot powers
alanschu
Though less versatile. What type of powers do they have? Are they typically of the "spell" variety. Edited January 19, 2006 by alanschu
Darque
Warlock Invocations are usually self buffs or indirect attacks. Plus the class' Eldritch Blast with is a magical attack that scales in damage as you increase in level. Examples of Warlock Invocations are.... Baleful Utterance: Shatter (as the spell) Dark One's Own Luck: A save bonus based on your Charisma modifier See the Unseen: See invisible and Darkvision Charm: Charm Monster (only one at a time) Fell Flight: Fly The Dead Walk: Animate Dead Wall of Perilous Flame: Wall of Fire Chilling Tentacles: Like Evards Black Tentacles Retributive Invisibility: Greater Invisibility (and if dispelled does an area affect attack to all in 20 feet) Dark Foresight: Foresight Dark Discorperation: Turn into a magical bat swarm Those are my favs, but there are quite a few more Plus there are Invocations that can improve your Eldritch Blast, like enemy debuffs, Fire, Ice or Acid attacks and then ones to improve the range or shape of the attack. Edit: Oh yeah, plus they get a couple of really neat abilites that let them use almost any magic item, and to make almost any magic item Edited January 19, 2006 by Darque

Arkan
BLARG! 10,000! BWAAHAAAHAAAAAAA! (w00t) By the gods, I am such a loser. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just thing of all the ones in WoT that aren't counted. "Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." - Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials "I have also been slowly coming to the realisation that knowledge and happiness are not necessarily coincident, and quite often mutually exclusive" - meta
