Well this one is sure interesting to say the least. It mentions both Obsidian and Bioware and talks about why the people at the website dislike both companies. What do you all think?

Not a place I normally go, but since the link was there. Hilarious read and unfortunately, he does have a lot of valid points

I think the author just needs a hug.

He does have a lot of valid points, in the way any biased piece will generally have half the relevant points but be missing the other half.

I would have thought Gabs would like the horribly anti console slant of that article.

That site seems like fun, it has so much drama! their dislike for volourn is hilarious! (w00t)

Maybe it was one of those guys that did the ytmnd site (that has been removed <_<)

hah. That's an awesome article and makes me love those boys even more. The codex always was and remains the best crpg site in the internet. The day the codex finally gives up and closes doors wil be a sad day indeed.

Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

;) Anyone who takes everything in the article seriously is crazy.

We pissed off Volourn. Yup, he was pissed enough to spam the hell out of the RPG Codex Site Feedback forum.

Why's that? The people at the Codex take themselves to seriously as it is.

It seems as if the only RPG they liked was Fallout. They can't find something to like about what's being made, tough schit for them.

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Its RPGCodex.

Crap is what they deal out everyday of their existence. They are just a bunch of Tim Cain fanbois as well. Troika's rep for buggy and subpar games was well freaking earned with ToEE. Add to the crappy game balance of Arcanum its no wonder that Bloodlines sold like poorly.

The Codex is fun; but they're also tools. No matter what, it's entertaining!

Yep, they are as funny as a kick in the crotch.

A kick in someone else's crotch can be pretty hilarious.

There was this one time when a guy I knew who kept trying to feel up girls (we were still in school back then) got a swift punch in the crotch from one of them. I have to admit that I laughed my ass off.
