Judge Hades Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Lunar Silver Star Story, FF7, Lunar Eternal Blue, RE 1, and RE 2 were my fav PS1 games.
Arkan Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Lunar Silver Star Story, FF7, Lunar Eternal Blue, RE 1, and RE 2 were my fav PS1 games. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't care what they say about you. You're an ok guy in my book. "Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." - Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials "I have also been slowly coming to the realisation that knowledge and happiness are not necessarily coincident, and quite often mutually exclusive" - meta
Kor Qel Droma Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Was FF7 the one with Cloud and Tifa? A few non-RPGs I enjoyed on the PS were NHL99, Tekken and *looks shamefully* WCW vs. the world. And I remember an old roommate of mine and myself playing some fishing game for hours on end. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Krookie Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 He isn't that well known. But I hear he can kick the crap out of any plumber.
ShadowPaladin V1.0 Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Was FF7 the one with Cloud and Tifa? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes. My least favourite FF (well except II) It's a good list though. I'd add FFIX to that as well. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327[/snapback]
Calax Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 XenoGears... it's a masterpiece in storytelling. Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.
Volourn Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 FF7, FF8 (my favorite FF ever), FF9 (actually is that PS1 or PS2, I forget lol), any of the EA sports games (espicially baseball - Triple Play rocks!, Madden, and NHL), wrestling, and that's a bout it off the top of my head. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Haitoku Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 XenoGears... it's a masterpiece in storytelling. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I also recommened Chrono Cross & Tales of Destiny II.
Judge Hades Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 ff9 was PS1, Volourn, though it came out at the same time as the PS2 if not shortly before. FF10 was the first FF for the PS2.
Darque Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 For PS1 Resident Evil Resident Evil 2 Resident Evil 3 Silent Hill Dino Crisis Dino Crisis 2 Alone in the Dark: The new nightmare Fear Effect Fear Effect 2 Final Fantasy 8 Suikoden Parasite Eve Parasite Eve 2
karka Posted November 26, 2005 Author Posted November 26, 2005 Thanks for your suggestions guys. Now, i will try to find these games.
Judge Hades Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Oh, I almost forgot the Persona series. Every want to start off as a japanesse school high school kid in the modern day? Persona is the game for you.
Volourn Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Cool Hades. And, oh, since I was reminded, Dino Crisis was awesome. The best 'horror survivor' game I've ever played... DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Azure79 Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Never owned a PS1, but play Metal Gear Solid if you haven't. Great game. I played it on my PC.
Pidesco Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 Vagrant Story, Castlevania:SOTN, Tactics Ogre and Final Fantasy Tactics are definitely worth playing. I'm going to disagree with Darque and say you shouldn't touch Suikoden (the first one) with a 50 foot pole. "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands. Heja Sverige!! Everyone should cuffawkle more. The wrench is your friend.
Calax Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 BTW Xenogears is LONG... I think I've logged about 50 hrs in that and I STILL didn't beat it. Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.
Haitoku Posted November 26, 2005 Posted November 26, 2005 BTW Xenogears is LONG... I think I've logged about 50 hrs in that and I STILL didn't beat it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You never finished it!? I was at 68 hours by the end during my first play through... The gameplay was incredibly repetitive, but the story more then makes up for it.
karka Posted November 27, 2005 Author Posted November 27, 2005 I borrowed(no no! not, stole :D ) FF7 from a friend of mine. Now i am looking for other games... Hey it's hard to find these old games.

Hey it's hard to find these old games. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you are willing to find them over the net, it's not hard at all. Hit Ebay. Even Ebgames still has a lot of old PSX games around.
