Rosbjerg
the one where they translated women into .. b i t c h .. is especially bad! Fortune favors the bald.
jaguars4ever
Microsoft has also managed to upset women and entire countries. A Spanish-language version of Windows XP, destined for Latin American markets, asked users to select their gender between "not specified," "male" or "bitch," because of an unfortunate error in translation. Priceless.

julianw
I don't know if it's that extreme, but if he drops a hundred-dollar-bill, he's better off keep walking.
Reveilled
I don't know if it's that extreme, but if he drops a hundred-dollar-bill, he's better off keep walking. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I never understood that idea. I mean, even if he makes more than a hundred dollars in the time it takes to pick up a hundred dollar bill, if he stopped to pick it up, wouldn't he have the money he makes, plus the hundred dollars? Dark Moth
Well, they are perilously close to having a monopoly on the computer market. Pracitcally everything is Microsoft. Nah, a few million can't hurt.

SteveThaiBinh
This kind of thing happens all the time. There was a Western company that advertised soap powder in Kuwait showing the dirty clothes to the left, then the clean clothes to the right, forgetting that Arabic speakers read from right to left, so the powder was making the clothes dirty. Most international maps do show Kashmir a different colour to either Pakistan or India. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now."
