April 10, 200520 yr Just started learning to draw last week. Trying for Anime-style art. I don't know how to shade, nor define fabric folds. :"> (Special thanks to Aimo for her highly inspiring artwork. )
April 10, 200520 yr Not bad, although it looks like somebody from the 70's or so... (the Capri pants, I think they're called... I'll have to ask my friend on Monday). April 10, 200520 yr Author Not bad, although it looks like somebody from the 70's or so... (the Capri pants, I think they're called... I'll have to ask my friend on Monday). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry about that, it's supposed to be just a long skirt. :D Uploaded a new image.
April 10, 200520 yr Wow... Hey, you've drawn the attention of aimo... they're reading as we speak. That skirt looks a lot better than the capris did... The body seems slim, for some reason... It's a whole lot better than mine would be (unless you're also a member of the Stick Figure Drawers Anonymous...) April 10, 200520 yr Author Wow... Hey, you've drawn the attention of aimo... they're reading as we speak. (w00t) (BTW, "they're"?) That skirt looks a lot better than the capris did... Yeah, it kind'a does. Thanks for that. The body seems slim, for some reason... 6-o'clock diet? :D
April 10, 200520 yr Nice one. I think some folds woudn't hurt though. Fabric does have that tendency and the coat just seems to be too straight down. Also add some shading.

April 10, 200520 yr I'm not an artist so what I say I guess doesn't carry much weight, but she does look a bit thin in the mid section... It's a great base to start off. Constantly update the first post image with the latest version and I'm sure that the artists around here will tell what to do next and how. April 10, 200520 yr "inspired by aimo" Hah, Aimo inspired me to do some KotoR drawings. They turned out terrible so I didn't attempt anymore. I like yours. The only thing I can draw is a hand, which still looks deformed. ^_^ Fanfics: KotOR II: After the Credits Rolled: Read Force Sight: Read Other: Gaming Blog: Read

April 10, 200520 yr Keep it up. My first attempt was horrid, I must say. Your attempt is damned good.
April 11, 200520 yr Author that's a great pic! oh and you just started learning how to draw?! so never before last week you've known how to draw? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks much. And yah, I have never known how to draw (nor attempted to) prior to just recently. Currently reading up and trying to figure out fabric details and shading. Thing is, in both books and on the net, different people have their own ideas. I'm confused.

And so are the eyes and lips. Oh, the eyes..! Very frustrating. Good thing Visas has a veil and didn't need to draw eyes.
