Bokishi Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 She got those ding dongs hanging from the sides of her head, and she looks like she wear's a twilek headress in those brief instances when her hood is slightly down. Current 3DMark

Her dad probably was human but got drunk and made out with a Twilek dancer girl. The result : Kreia.

We should see more twilek/human crossbreeds in the star wars universe. Current 3DMark
jaguars4ever Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 LOL Serioulsy though, those 'ding-dongs' as you call them look more like Twi'lek lekku than human pony tails.
OKO Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 The only problem is that many Twileks dont speak actual Human, they speak Galactic Basic. I dont know, maybe a cross breed of some sort; I doubt anyone really knows. (Excuse me if someone does.)
jaguars4ever Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 In the SW universe, isn't Galactic Basic the language that humans speak as well? Cool sig BTW!
OKO Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 No, I think of you know Galactic Basic you can understand any race that speaks Galactic Basic. I think thats It, but perhaps I'm wrong. And thank you for the compliment, I made it myself.
ampulator00 Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 I'm pretty sure galactic basic is just english. And twiileks can learn basic; look at mission and griff.
Mellypie Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 I'm pretty sure galactic basic is just english. Correct! There are some species like the bith, duros, wookiees, etc. that connot speak basic because their vocal cords cannot duplicate the sounds. "They might not call you a Jedi anymore, but believe me, you are. It's not the sort of thing that you just stop being. You're stuck with it, just like you're stuck being the General." ~Bao-Dur, Knights of the Old Republic: The Sith Lords
stoo Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 I stil think those 'things' are quite human hair pony-tails. Here is proof: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/kotor2/screens.html?page=171 (this one needs no comment) http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/kotor2/screens.html?page=169 (notice the strands, whereas a twi'lek 'tail' would be 'flat', and how hair bundles swell between those 'rings')

" And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
stoo Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Your eyes can deceive you. Don't trust them. She's human.
Guest Damar Stiehl Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Galactic Basic = English Twi'lek gibberish = Huttese Is there any fluff concerning Twi'leks and Hutts, BTW? Why is it that every self-respecting Twi'lek not only KNOWS Huttese but also speaks primarily using it?
Jad'en Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Galactic Basic = English Twi'lek gibberish = Huttese Is there any fluff concerning Twi'leks and Hutts, BTW? Why is it that every self-respecting Twi'lek not only KNOWS Huttese but also speaks primarily using it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Twi'leks speak Ryl Hutt's speak Huttese Humans speak Basic or whatever... Sullustians speak Sulluste and so on...
GarethCarrots Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 the logic, it frightens me, so strange and alien. help. help. :D
bob_the_kitty_hunter Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 I think it would make more sense if she was a half-Twi'lek. I mean, it makes sense doesn't it? What guy (in the Star Wars univarse) wouldn't want to screw a Twi'lek? Especially when drunk...
Jad'en Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Can you make a wolfman by screwing a wolf? No? Because your sperm wont fertilise that egg... Perhaps its the same with Twekkies?
GarethCarrots Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 no they are compatible, garik loran and dia passik had a kid, i think its if the species are like way different, say humanoid and feline, or feline and amphibious. thats where the problems start (dont ask how i know that cos i honestly cant remember)
Midnight Hawk Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 You ever notice the significance of ponytails and the dark side.... In KOTOR 1 Bastila had pigtails and she went DS. And Kreia well.... Coincidence....I think not.
><FISH'> Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 we have no evidence of her nhaving pigtails before she was a sith lord
Goodwood Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 In the "Kreia's Fall" movie, you can see that they're adorned clumps of hair. Yikes, she's an old cow...*shudder* Insofar as alien languages in KOTOR II, however, I will say that I'm glad to hear the Aqualish speaking their native tongue instead of Ithorian, the Duros sound more like Duros, the Rodians are simirlarly more unique, and the Bith, Quarren, and other aliens also speak their own unique languages instead of KOTOR I's "everyone speaks Huttese but with different inflections from the same guy doing it"...
Taran'atar Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Kreia's "ding dongs" are a clearly different color and texture than the rest of her. More likely they're ponytails and she's human.
Daaave Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 She's a Hutt. Just because you're a bit thinner than your even fatter mum it doesn't mean you're in excellent physical shape, if you could fit through the door and view the normal people you'd notice that cheeseburger boy. Squid suck.
Jad'en Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 no they are compatible, garik loran and dia passik had a kid, i think its if the species are like way different, say humanoid and feline, or feline and amphibious. thats where the problems start (dont ask how i know that cos i honestly cant remember) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Then they are medical immpossiblities... the geno for Head-tails and no head-tails would clearly be not compatable... Also the pigments such as red in the skin wouldnt work in a human Chromosome... so dont get picky about science
