Obireel Y Doncha Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 The way I play KOTOR and KOTOR2, STR is just about useless. It's even more just about useless in 2, since there is a melee weapon finesse skill. Are there playing styles or jedi classes that make STR truly worth more than you give up not investing in other attributes?
Darth Tratious Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 STR is strength right if it is my charecter was about 21
NeverwinterKnight Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 cant remember what it ended up as, but i generally start at about 13 or 14 in STR.
SithLord#1 Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 It all depends on what class I plan on being. I never really level up dexterity or strength because I use the points on Wisdom. :D
LordRaven Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Yeah I never usually worry about strength if I have any left over points after buying wisdom etc I will dump it in strength.
Jedi_Master_Darkor Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 I don't usually focus on strength. My dex at the end of the game was something like 50+20

I found Cha, Wis, and Int to be the most important, but I could see someone making a valid arguement in favor of Dex as well Kalfear Disco and Dragons Avatar Enlarged
Phosphor Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Character build discussions do not need polls.
DarthLightsaber Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Isn't strength important because when you use critical strike it stuns your enemies?
random evil guy Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 i've always favoured strength over dexterity. i thought master flurry combined with a lot of strength, was the best combo.
Darth Gizka Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 str= to hit, damage bonus... dex= to hit (with finesse), to hit ranged, reflex save, defense bonus... now guys, which gives you more for your buck?
Epiphany Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Strength, since it allows you to crush your enemies before they can hit you. Who needs a high defense or a high reflex save if you're killing everything in one round with your saber or with 1-2 shots of force storm?
Judge Hades Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Depends on what type of character I am making. I usually have a 14 strength to start off with in a combat monkey build. 12 if more combat dexterity build. If I am going for the non-combatant type I leave it at 8.

Laozi Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 My last guardian/jedi master build I ended up with like 26 strength, 22 dex, 18 constitution, 16 intelligence, 36 wisdom, 19 charisma, this is a level 15/12 character with several upgrades, and it all seems needlessly powerful, no one in all of the starwars universe could hope to touble this juggarnaut People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.
