I got tired of searching the forums.

 

Has anyone actually gotten any of these in game? I mean the crystal that was described as making your lightsaber blade "so dark it might as well be black." If you did get it was it a random drop, or was it a quest item?

Nope. I got the old colors, and lighter versions of (most of) those colors, but no darker colors.

Still looking for that one myself...it was really, really dark green from what the devs said.

i'm half way through the second time and i haven't seen anything so the black variety. Wish their was though

I am looking for that as well. Haven't been able to find it. I am also looking for the silver one.

I believe the silver one can be obtained by doing either(or both) of these.

If you complete the Smuggled Weapons quest by cooperating with the criminal Duros merchant brother, he'll sell you one in his "special" goods

 

 

2)

Completion of the New Trade Routes quest (accomplished by talking to the female Rodian who likes humans after you've been to Onderon and Dantooine; this can only be done if you side with the female Rodian on Nar Shaddaa) may place one in the expanded shopping inventory that she has.

 

Nobody has gotten the dark color saber crystal?

I think that it is the ageden crystal that you can choose to have as your "previous" lightsaber... do we actually get htat thing back anyways? :D

I don't think you can choose that as a color. Viridian was one option, but that is the light green(and this is accessible in game). The rest seemed normal.

Yeah, I kill Atris, and think I am about to get my silver saber back when- WHAM there I am back at Citadel station. That b!tch stole my saber and got the last laugh.

Are you saying that quest will give the crystal which makes your saber "almost black" as a reward?

Bumping my own thread sucks. But this is now bothering me that no one seems to know about the dark-colored saber.

Yeah, that one was good one (Kreia describes it if she's in your group) and it is darkside only, but I think that's a mod crystal, not a color one...

All I know is that you get a DS crystal (ish red n_n) but it isn't a colour crystal. It's just a good one.

 

I don't know about the blackish one . . .

I am looking for that as well. Haven't been able to find it. I am also looking for the silver one.

I remember getting a silver crystal in the crystal cave on Dantooine, just random loot.

I played through the entire game and never saw one.

ive looked through the strategy guide for this and in the back where it tells all the crystals it tells all the possible stats for your characters crystal. the crystal color changes with your power but cant be used as the color crystal in your saber

We're not talking about the personal crystal. That's the one in the cave. We're talking about a color crystal.

Did the devs forget to put this in, or something? I'm getting flashbacks of the IWD2 armors that didn't get put in until the patch.

See, now this is the only downside of random loot. But hey, at least it gives the game a little more quality, not to mention replay value.

the only thing i ran across that sounds even remotely like that,is the crystal you can get in exchange for the open visa (from that shady woman in the onderon cantina).it also seemed,as others have said,that this one appears to be a mod crystal and not one that could alter your blade's color.

 

but then,i played lightside my first game,and ive just started my second,so i couldve missed it.
