Bastilla_Skywalker Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 ok you persuaded me to use deciples head as a soccer ball Press Teh Button
forgion Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Welcome to the Dark side of the Force. :D You can now choose your Prestige Class.
Ludozee Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Geez, is this topic still going? I'm surprised it isn't locked yet! It's getting quite long, you know...
Darth_Gandalf Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Well, since the article's got the images of six of the characters from the menu where it shows force alignment, and Visas Marr has the blue light side background, I guess that means that she's one of the characters that follows your lead. "You shall not pass!"
Dark_Consular Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 In the picture of PC fighting against malak and bastilla or whatever you make of that picture look at the sub heading below thre picture. It says Attack of the Clones than talks about your teamates. I know it isn't in the same heading as the pictures but It just caught my eye.
Naga Sadow Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 They keep referring to a huge twist in the game. For some reason I keep thinking that the twist is Kreia is really a Sith Lord. It's purely speculation, no logic attached to that theory really, just a hunch.
Dark_Consular Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 well atton rand definately has some kinda thing story behind him.
DSLuke Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 If Kreai is a Sith Lord why would she re-train you in the ways of the Force? Either way she would have one more opponment And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
Jad'en Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 well atton rand definately has some kinda thing story behind him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He played a large roll in trying to keep the Jedi alive, so was part of the resitance
Darth_Gandalf Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Visas Marr is described as being the most mysterious party member... "You shall not pass!"
Stargate: 2000 Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Well since Avellone has stated that Atris is definitely not a party member it would be quite a coup to have her secretly as Handmaiden. But I'm wondering about this whole Handmaiden, Visas Marr, Disciple triumvirate. What do you think about it, Kazic? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I heard earlier, that handmaiden and VW couldn't be in the same party together, but that was when I thought HM was good and VM was bad, but it was never said what their force alignments were. Maybe we were assuming too much, and that feature is still there. I still say we need to focus for a moment and figure out who disciple is. Any suggestions? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, since the article's got the images of six of the characters from the menu where it shows force alignment, and Visas Marr has the blue light side background, I guess that means that she's one of the characters that follows your lead. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you look at the caption below the pict it says that she will foloow you regaurdless of your decissions, So that would mean that she is neither light nore dark. But the question still needs to be asked.... does this only apply to male characters? or will it also work with female characters? the reason I am asking this is because of something that has been said by both Mr. Avallone and Akari, how you answer the questions asked at the begining of the game will change how characters react to you and also which characters you will see in the game, SO back to my reasoning (if there is any ) by say choosing a female character and female DS Revan will that change who is loyal and who is not? "The only difference between genius and stupidity is genius has its limits!" - Albert Einstein. "It's better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!" "You can try to kill me, you'd fail!, but you can try!" - Revan. "When you have exhausted all other possibilities whatever remains, however improbable must be the truth." - Sherlock Holmes (a.k.a. Sir Arthur Conan Dole) "A lack of planning on your part, does not constitute an emergency on my part"
Dark_Consular Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 I doubt it, male or female she is loyal to you. So shes not just loyal because she thinks your a dreamy hot jedi...
DarthDoGooder Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 If Kreai is a Sith Lord why would she re-train you in the ways of the Force? Either way she would have one more opponment <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, isn't it one of the movies? Prequel, perhaps? "There are always two...a master and a student" Or something like that? Now for a topic change, I saw(a long long time ago) in a magazine somewhere that everyone would have a "special ability" like Canderous ability to heal light wounds. I think Atton's was the ability to revive himself if he is knocked out or something? Tell me someone else saw this and if Im not crazy, what could the other party member's abilities be?
Dark_Consular Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Kreai's ability is stated somewhere, I recall soemthing like this. When Kreai is in the party the characters get a small xp boost (like 110 instead of 100) and when she has an effect cast on her (knight speed for example) everyone else in the party gets knight speed.
DarthDoGooder Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Holy F. That would be awesome. (I'm a power gamer. NEED XP!) Anyone else heard of an ability?
MasterNeo Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Now for a topic change, I saw(a long long time ago) in a magazine somewhere that everyone would have a "special ability" like Canderous ability to heal light wounds. I think Atton's was the ability to revive himself if he is knocked out or something? Tell me someone else saw this and if Im not crazy, what could the other party member's abilities be? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah you're right he can resist incapacitation and stay alive as long as another member is alive as well. He cant be knocked down and he is also resistant to stun parylize and poison as well. Mira the Bounty Hunter I think can be inferred that her abilities come from her wrist launcher (trainquilizer darts, buster rockets). She might be the new heavy weaponry specialist.
Darth_Gandalf Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Bao-Dur and T3-M4 comprise a portable workbench. The Wookiee has a Bloodrage ability. Visas Marr has permanent force sight. "You shall not pass!"
DarthDoGooder Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Thanks for the info guys! I can't wait for this game! I played the first game through 3 times just to see how each class selection worked over the course of the game. This time? Well, my Christmas break is already shot.
Ivan the Terrible Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 So.....MCA said (theoretically) that we could get a Wookie in our party. In game, we're being hunted by an evil Wookie bounty hunter. Coincidence? I think not. Who else wants to bet that said bounty hunter will be a Dark Side NPC who can join our party later on (probably after we've stomped him a couple times)? I made this half-pony half-monkey monster to please you But I get the feeling that you don't like it What's with all the screaming? You like monkeys, you like ponies Maybe you don't like monsters so much Maybe I used too many monkeys Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you?
DarthDoGooder Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Almost like that situation with the Cathar? Starts with a J...can't remember. Oh well. Personally, I think that some of those "opportunities" are rather dumb. Now, personally, I always play through LS first, but can you imagine that? You fight someone, cut them up, huge battle, and then you try to make peace with them? Im more of a dark Light-sider. "Cleanse the galaxy of evil!". After all, it would be just my luck that when I asked them to come back to the LS they would take the opportunity to stab me. EDIT: Post #404! Jedi not found?....
