SilverSun Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 You seem kind of mellow for a pixie. Aren't they suppose to be all hyper?
thepixiesrock Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Not "a" pixie. The pixies are a band from about 1986-1991. And they rock. Darth Sun_Tzu Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Actually he is from the Pixie Rock Institute, in southern cali. Its a place for 'Special' people. Another great idea by the people who brought you beer milkshakes! "I don't see a problem...then again, SW isn't my life, so what do I know...." - some who makes 27.8 post per day on a SW forum!

LORD GRAVEN Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 i appreciate the effort of developing your power but i dislike having to be taught them.

GhostofAnakin Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 It has been revealed that force crush will not be available by the character untill they are instructed by a npc. This idea of learning powers adds more depth rather than just selecting any power at level-up. This begs the question- who will teach you these powers? Force crush. It makes sense that a sith (living or dead) will instruct you on the use of this dark power, probably on Korriban. This power will also probably be available only to darksiders (again leaving lightsider with no good offensive powers) Battle meditation Since we know that battle-meditation is an extremely rare power mastered by very few i think that it makes sense that you can only be instructed by one who already knows that power. This means that perhaps Bastilla could make an apperance to pass on her knowledge. She would teach both light and darksiders depending on her alignment from KOTOR. Thoughts anyone? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe Bastila will show up and lecture you on Battle Meditation. I hope not, but that might be a likely scenario if she does, in fact, make an appearance. Force Crush would likely be a Sith Lord taught skill. "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
Jedi Master D Murda Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 Does anyone think some powers will be exclusive to alignment. I was thinking if I was a paragon of light and wanted to learn a Sith move would I not be able to?
Jedi Master D Murda Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 I would imagine it will be like that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That would be scary . The more I think of it, the more it seems realistic... not a good sign for a LS guy who likes to use DS powers.
alanschu Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 Kinda hard to get the evil Sith Lord to train you when the only thing he wants to do is kill you. Might be different if you are learning through some other source though (say reading up about it in a holocron).

Darth Ni Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 You'd think Atris could teach us Battle Meditation...
Stargate: 2000 Posted October 11, 2004 Posted October 11, 2004 I guess I missed something but can someone please provide a link to whichever article or thread that mentioned that we had to be taught force powers?
