I agree... now Bastilla was a looker! Too bad she had to die... or atleast I thought she died... anyway... she had anice accent though. Gotta give em the british accent!

I just hope that Obsidian is paying attention to this thread and take the suggestions to make her look more like the damn concept art (a cute girl in her early 20s) and not like some 40 year old female impersonator with really big lips. Reminds me of John Cleese's female impersonator sketch in Monty Python.

Dont be silly "IT" looks nothing like John Cleese, Terry jones is who you were thinking of. Give it a shawl and we would have the spam sketch all over again.

Please improve that face

(Not that I could do anything near as good, but then Im not paid to)

It can't be that hard to make a nice looking face. No one is asking for some Paris Hilton lookalike (or maybe some of the other guys are!), but there were plenty of good looking faces from KOTOR's female character selection.

And to any women- no, we don't expect all women in the real world to look the same; beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But there are some basic standards to attractiveness, and, since this is a fantasy game, all of the characters should look somewhat attractive, male and female.

She needs bigger breasts.

Bastila had a nice pair of pixelated mammories

I'm sure it's just a weird angle or something. She can't be all bad. Besides, the game isn't out yet. WIth the overall outcry coming from fans right now, I'm sure if it's a problem, it'll be fixed in time.

I actually like her now...i just had to shake off the expectet usual concept of supermodel dressed like a playboybunny female sidekick and remember that in real life people looks like ..well err people ....damn real life..damn it!!

THey need to make her face rounder, the elongated face makes her look older. Smaller lips would be good too, Big lips give me the impression that she wears as much lipstick as my girlfriends Grandmother.

My point is, just don't make characters ugly for the sake of people being ugly, which seems to be what some people are getting at with the arguments against certain "female" attributes.

Who wants to have ugly characters?

And I think Paris Hilton's a dumb bimbo too, but ask most guys and she's pretty hot. I just brought it up as a reference. How about Salma Hayek? I think she's a better example.

As a matter of fact, let's have a character who looks like Salma Hayek.

Please.

Paris Hilton is hardly the highlight of beauty. She looks like a very orange goat.

It'd be nice if the character actually looked like the concept art, which resembled a feisty dark red-haired (dyed, not natural) girl in her 20-somethings. Naturally red haired girls have a tendency to have really pale skin and a ton of freckles to boot. I'm thinking she should look somewhere along the lines of that girl from the Lexx sci-fi series.

But even a cute befreckled pale-skinned red haired girl would look better than Terry Jones in drag.

Yeah, inspite of Paris Hilton's likeness to a farm animal, I'd take her over that man-thing any single day of the week. I'd have to be absolutely hammered to find the Mira model as it is currently attractive in any way.

You know, it is just a computer game. If you desperately need an attractive women, go out and meet one, or, failing that, watch some porn.

Having "totally hot bounty hunters" in KOTOR 2 should not be a priority.

"Basic standards?" What do you mean?

If you mean not looking that horrible, I agree...

Basic standards. Certain facial types and shapes are generaly found more pleasing than others. Symmetry for instance. While many people think that people's faces are symmetrical(one half of the face matching another), this is generally not true. The more symmetrical the face the better.

Women's chins are narrower and pointier. Elfin looking. Men on the other-hand, have wider and rounder chins. Strictly from a physical stantpoint, a woman with a wide chin doesn't look as good as one with a narrow chin. Men with narrow chins tend to look too bishonen.

THis also applies to body types. For women, optimally, a 3-2-3, breast, waist, hip ratio is best.

Of course, bear in mind, this only applies to physical beauty. There are other mental, emotional, and spiritual factors which are far more important.

Look, I don't care about the romances as long it's well-written and serves the story. I don't care if it's with one character or a few. I don't care if she's hot or average looking or whatever because it's...iI don't know...A VIDEO GAME.

All I ask is that you don't have me playing Telos 90210 or Korriban Place or some s***t like that.

Yeah, I know the "standards" in that sense, indalecio. Though I would argue that the most beautiful have something a-symmetrical in an almost completely symmetrical face. I can't imagine they have a way to prove anything beyond a correlation of symmetry and attractiveness. Symmetry can be boring.

I'm sure you agree to some extent, but it's fun to talk about it...

JohnDoe: I would agree that it's not a top priority, but the concept art is FAR more attractive than the character model is... and to be quite honest, it's hard to imagine anyone naturally looking that bad without some major radiation poisoning.

Maybe this is the fallout touch people have been wanting...

And no, I don't really care that much about how she looks either, even if I'm romancing her. I'll probably do it anyway, just for the story.

That opinion is likely far from the majority opinion, however.

I think I saw a couple of devs read in this topic a few days back. I think one was the A-guy that you always see around, and is now a moderator, and the other one... I don't remember who he was, so I'm not sure if an artist has seen it. They've read, though, whatever it counts for.
