Ha, my company sent out an all hands message regarding Trump pausing enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act saying that even in the absence of legal requirements, ethics and integrity have strong business benefits. Our practices around bribery and corruption are not changing lol.

Shouldn't be long, we have a pretty active DEI program. Doing all kinds of shadiness like hiring rural remote workers to get different perspectives in the company, disgusting.

Also, Trump doesn't know what VAT is, as he wrote on Truth Social.

"For purposes of this United States Policy, we will consider Countries that use the VAT System, which is far more punitive than a Tariff, to be similar to that of a Tariff. Sending merchandise, product, or anything by any other name through another Country, for purposes of unfairly harming America, will not be accepted"

So Trump signed a new executive order that funding will be cut for all schools that mandate the COVID vaccine. Sounds terrible, right? It's outrageous!

It is still mandated by a few private colleges, which shouldn't be impacted by the order. But I'd be more worried about orders impacting hospitals.

It's so funny how that movie released at the exact perfect time. If it had released earlier, people would have said it's really damn stupid and unrealistic, and crap like that would never happen in real life. Now here we are, following it 1:1.

Like it happened with Iron Sky. Sure, no Moon Nazis (yet), but everything else did come true, just much worse than in the satire was. :p
