This is going to be good, an 80 hour experimental movie with no plot that consists of the protagonist wantonly killing thousands of creatures because the Gloam-Eyed Queen told them to.

No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.

That was the screenplay I wrote for a Diablo movie.

Diablo's story is more developed than that of any Soulsborne game, not counting Sekiro as it isn't truly one.

I think it would be better to change the runs to Pindleskin grindnig. Title the film Chasing Zod and could sprinkle interviews with people who actualy found a Zod in between, lots of social media coverage by people who faked finding a Zod until they made it, and interviews with a bunch of grinders who still believe that the game isn't rigged. I'd also suggest a libertarian view from Guard Dog and an interview with Hurlshot just to make sure you get a dose of that utterly unwarranted optimism.

And you have a great exploration of the human condition in capitalist America in 2025 via video game allegory. Might even win you a prize or two.

Watched The Phoenician Scheme in a crappy movie theater, with my parents. Suffice it to say, they did not like it. 😂 I don't even know why they picked it. Probably because it was between Jurassic World and some other stupid movie.

As for me, I liked it. There is not much new to this Wes Anderson movie, expect for the new actors he cast, but as of yet I am still not bored by the formula.

They should call it "Spaceballs To", just to mess with the grammar space nazi's.

It's good to see Mel Brooks still kicking around at 98.

Somehow I didn't like James Bond movies since.. ever. Goldeneye is kinda cool I guess, but all I remember from it is that tank scene.

Mission Impossible on the other hand is actually quite a bunch of fun movies.

On the bright side, the film can't get any worse than Quantum of Solace or Skyfall. That's physically impossible.

As long as it's better than the last one...

As someone who has watched a handful of James Bond films spread a number of decades and came away disliking or hating them all, I'm personally very happy to see this pairing - so long as nobody tries to convince me to watch the resulting garbage. Confining Dennis' talents to James Bond seems a small mercy on the part of the universe, honestly.

Against stupidity we have no defense. Neither protests nor force can touch it. Reasoning is of no use. Facts that contradict personal prejudices can simply be disbelieved - indeed, the fool can counter by criticizing them, and if they are undeniable, they can just be pushed aside as trivial exceptions. So the fool, as distinct from the scoundrel, is completely self-satisfied. In fact, they can easily become dangerous, as it does not take much to make them aggressive. For that reason, greater caution is called for than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous.

The Bond films can be fun popcorn movies, although most are politically dated at this point. As spy films though, they are too over the top. Except, perhaps, for Casino Royale.
