Except I can't, because glucose levels. Ah well. Maybe I could try being a "whale" in some idiotic mobile game that I could play on the tablet, on the couch. *looks at some mobile games, fine print* "app purchases to $299" Uh, holy... not quite that bored (or rich), yet. I have eaten and made probably about 200+ cheese fondues and I have also had oil fondues But I have never eaten a chocolate fondue, they very popular and I have seen them at several weddings. LadyCrimson Posted November 13 Author Posted November 13 According to internet, I quite likely have many "traits" of: ADHD PTSD being somewhere "on the autism spectrum" (ASD), or whatever title is currently in fashion to use Major Depressive Order (long or maybe forever "remission" stage) or whatever they might call it now A laundry list of physical disorders A laundry list of hormonal disorders "Of course, this is not a diagnosis, but only a list of possibilities." ...is it just me, or has it reached a point in mass modern culture where everything anyone ever does is a symptom of something, that might need "fixing" or "managing?" ...maybe I am just ... me? 1 “Things are as they are. Reminds of my early teenage years (12-13 year old, thereabouts)... got my hands on a medical encyclopedia of sorts at the library and read it. Gorth Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Nothing exciting, just 2 minutes of monotony.... People sometimes raise an eyebrow or two when they find out my PC is connected to an UPS. But when you live where I live, it's not a luxury. Yesterday evening, while minding some meat on the BBQ, I took my phone and just shot 2 minutes of the night sky. Sometimes, weeks on end, every single afternoon and night, it looks like this... while my poor UPS is sweating and going <click><beep!>.... <click><beep!>... while compensating for power fluctuations 3 “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. I’m fairly sure the shrimp thing came from the same travel guide that introduced drop bears Ie an urban legend that exists overseas Usually I put steak or chicken on the bbq. Sometimes fish or vegetables. Some mornings I do egg and bacon on it edit something I grew quite fond of is mushrooms with lots of thyme 1 “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. LadyCrimson Posted Wednesday at 06:42 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 06:42 PM I remember those shrimp on the barbie ads. They were all the (US) rage back then, when people used to chatter and giggle about tv ad campaigns vs. adblock everything. Funny how that was such a culture norm once. It was back in the mid-80's, there was a whole series of them, but I think this is the one most think of. Not sure if it was the first one or not, maybe. 1 “Things are as they are. rjshae Posted Friday at 10:11 AM Posted Friday at 10:11 AM Our power finally came back on after being out for two and a half days. That cyclone knocked out power over a big area of our county. Normally I'm used to a few hours outage during a winter storm, but this is the longest in my memory. My sleep schedule is all messed up now, but at least I can finally have a warm shower. I hope this type of storm doesn't become a regular thing, what with climate change and all. 1 "It has just been discovered that research causes cancer in rats."
