Amentep Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Bit of a one-two punch losing Sly Stone and Brian Wilson. RIP. I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man

Looking at his body of work - I still have no idea why. I always figured he was in a lot of made for TV movies/series from the 80's or early 90's or something that I saw, but apparently not. How odd. Maybe he was just interviewed a lot on talk shows or something? I think his biggest thing was the TV series Everwood, early 2000's. Which I never saw (do remember the ads/articles tho). “Things are as they are. Pidesco Posted July 1 Posted July 1 78 to 87 may just have been the best Marvel ever was in the 20th century. "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. Bartimaeus Posted Wednesday at 03:53 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:53 PM Jimmy Swaggart My mom's dad was a pastor involved with a lot of the scumbags like Swaggart and Copeland early on into their ministries/proto-televangelist careers. Swaggart probably isn't as evil as Copeland is, but I can't say I'm terribly sorry to see him go, little good it does now. Quote Against stupidity we have no defense. Neither protests nor force can touch it. Reasoning is of no use. Facts that contradict personal prejudices can simply be disbelieved - indeed, the fool can counter by criticizing them, and if they are undeniable, they can just be pushed aside as trivial exceptions. So the fool, as distinct from the scoundrel, is completely self-satisfied. In fact, they can easily become dangerous, as it does not take much to make them aggressive. For that reason, greater caution is called for than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous.

majestic Posted Saturday at 12:01 AM Posted Saturday at 12:01 AM Composer Mark Snow, probably most famous for his work on the X-Files. Back in the 90ies when I was a wee lad, we used to watch X-Files together. If there's one thing I miss about the linear TV experience, it is gathering once a week to watch a series we all watched, and then discussing the episode with my friends at school. We were probably a bit too young to watch X-Files. Still remember how my brother was quite afraid while watching Darkness Falls. Snuck up behind him and just touched him. Heh. Almost had a heart attack. Most certainly woke all the old people in the neighborhood with his screaming. Good times. 2 No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.
