March 17, 20232 yr USS Chancellorsville renamed USS Robert Smalls Totally approve of this. Robert Smalls was a badass and should have had a movie made about him by now. This will do. Also as soon as I saw the name of the ship I thought it was odd. Is there a USS Little Big Horn or a USS Kasserine Pass floating around out there? March 27, 20232 yr The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration just signed a deal with Finnish SACO to supply us with new rifles for our army. https://www.fmv.se/aktuellt--press/aktuella-handelser/fmv-tecknar-avtal-om-eldhandvapen/ Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. March 28, 20232 yr Author I mean, before ramming the MQ-9 down, they twice dumped fuel on it to try to down it. I was surprised when the Su-27 exhaust didnt ignite the fuel and burn the MQ-9.

True... maybe that was the pilots original intention, but if it's (the airplane fuel) anything like the fuel on their old Soviet aircraft carrier, it's a mix of coal dust, olive oil, turpentine and a bit of diesel or something calling it mazut, it's probably almost impossible to ignite, even intentionally 😛 “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. This is just one example of how people manage to engineer precisely that which they don't want to happen. I am reminded of a certain Mr. Putin whose plan was to ensure that no nations should join NATO anymore and who decided to act towards that end.
