Well, I agree with him there. 😛

Eh, he has an opinion on something. Definitely worth barking over. Hm, recall he had a less than enthusiastic response to this game - I should go check to see if he's said anything post release. There may be something he's wound people up with.

New hotfix (to be honest, not sure how it's not a patch) out - https://www.cyberpunk.net/en/news/37214/hotfix-1-06

Ran through the drive-in date with Rogue, then meeting the rest of the band in the aftermath.

I guess it's kind of quirky that my V is wearing Silverhand's boots, pants, jacket, and shades and none of his old "friends" comment on it.  Rogue does comment if you're driving around in his Porsche, so half thought there might be other dialogue, but alas, no.

Still waiting for Kerry to call, based on the way it's going I expect I'll blow up his agent's house with an airstrike.

This is nice, now I don't have to worry.  Hopefully.

Although ... has anyone else been getting a little more graphic pop-in since these last two patches? I feel like the graphics became slightly worse (same settings).  Maybe it's my imagination but ... I recall how the more they "optimized" FFXV the worse some graphics looked regardless of settings.  Sigh.  I hope that doesn't happen here, at least by much.  *pick, pick, pick*

Yeah, now that you mention it. Maybe. I had it down to my computer being overloaded. 🤔

Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. Well after 96 hours of play, I completed my first game with a Path of Glory ending.

I'm like, dang it, that's pretty much a setup for a continuing future DLC.

Still, the route there has some nice emotional moments, the making decisions on the rooftop with Silverhand before deciding just what you're going to do was smoothly done.

Not too far below, predicted 16 million apparently https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-12-22/cd-projekt-sells-net-13-million-cyberpunk-copies-after-refund.

Not for comparison's sake as I looked it up out of curiosity, but was surprised to see GTA V did 11 million in one day.  Rockstar's printing money with that.

Wonder which they will pick one as canon, maybe they'll decide the ending riding out with Panam is too optimistic.  Well, or maybe ersatz Illusive Man will reach us in AZ with the same path to saving ourselves 😛

Considering how little the impact the different beginnings had on the story I doubt the different endings will matter too much in the end.

Spoiler

aside from the suicide one

Interesting the way they handle it with messages left from various characters you met in the game as part of the end credits.

Not sure if it was because of dialogue options I'd made, but even though I'd had the Judy romance option and she was with me at the start of Path of Glory, her message was a bittersweet kind of "Dear John" one.

Was amused when Goro Takemura started waxing poetical, referring to death poems by samurai before commiting seppuku and then going with the "but I have simple words for you... Go to Hell!"

Well, Kerry's ending was suitable. The escort mission you get later on from Us Cracks is nice, can have a really funny ending if you screw it up - but shame you can't jump the stalker early, or so it seems, as she spawns on a level but can't interact with her like the photo guy. I probably was not too thorough there.

Dear Regina:  Please throw away my number and STFU.

I know it's silly and petty of me, but it's driving me crazy.  :p

Finally met the lady in that old trailer who joins the cops (I guess Psycho Squad became MAXTAC).  Sure was disappointed I couldn't join MAXTAC

She's in the game? Do tell.

Clothing store in city centre, forget where precisely.  Go into a clothing store, the guy welcomes me back but I sure don't recall going there or getting a call about it - mabe was lost in the Regina spam.  Cyberpsycho bursts in, you kill him and then meet a MAXTAC officer named Melissa Rory who has an awesome pair of Mantis blades and really enjoys killing people.

Quest is called Bullets too, so is even more on the nose

After that whole lengthy Cyberpsychosis string from Regina, I was kind of expecting there to be more of an outcome. I'd managed to KO them all and not kill a one, and all I basically got was a pat on the back and an "atta-boy" from Regina.

I got the same, though it was one of the last missions I finished before rushing off to the endgame, figured I might've gotten a followup a few in-game days later.

I think Night City is getting to me. Silly broad just bumped into me and yelled "Are you blind?", so I pulled out my gun and blew her head clean off.

Liking this a good deal more than The Witcher 3. Feels like the same game though. Cars even handle like Roach. :p

There should be a Cybertruck 2078 mini DLC for this game: V retires as a happy trucker.

Running around with a katana is fun, shame the attack moves don't seem to vary too much but knife in a gunfight is working pretty well.  Fighting the Royce boss with it was a bit tricky for me, though.
