I... have no idea how to respond to this.

Achtung; Naughty word

Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. Mencken

Did we used to have a military thread? I seem to remember it but I also kinda remember Sinbad playing a genie.

Anyways, the new Space Force uniforms are pretty bad in my opinion. They look like the Army pajamas with the old, old jungle/woodland pattern. I was expecting something a little but more spacey and/or modern. I've seen the arguments in favor but I don't think they hold water. I don't care if they think camo is associated with the military or that because almost all will never go to space that they don't need something more fitting. None of them are likely to be out in the field and needing to blend in either.

Wasted opportunity to do something interesting.

Well thanks, I almost forgot that existed!

Well that's just trading one set of pajamas for another, better fitting, one:lol:

I just saw Tim Tebow got married over the weekend. Well, actually I heard it on SiriusXM, I've got BBC World Morning on while I was in the shower.  Anyway... I thought the news guys said he married Demi Lovato. I was a little surprised because she is kind of trashy and has drug problems. Seems an odd choice for that guy. It wasn't. It was Demi Lee Peters the former Miss Universe.

Agiel's All Things Military was closed for length and no one restarted it.

I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man

If there's a new one, title the thread "Humanity on a post of iron"

Ah, but just wait until our boys need to battle stormtroopers on a forest moon of Endor. Make sense then, it will.

DurrHurr! Yeah, thats it!

I'm going to assume you were not laughing at brain injuries. But your initial post comes across that way. So rather than clarifying your point, you are doubling down on the miscommunication, which is standard protocol for you.

edit: To clarify my question, I am not sure what you are referring to as pathetic. CNN? The Military? The Trump response? Brain injuries? Iran? Footlockers?

 Pathetic. But I guess they had to come up with something. Im 100% sure that "banging their shins on a footlocker" are under reported too!

Why's that pathetic ?

Probably not that dissimilar to an IED going off next to your vehicle. One of the hazards of a war zone, alas.
