Priest misses Secrets of Rime, intended or not?

So in BoW we have the Priest of Rymrgand, I haven't played the DLC yet so not sure if they get Secrets of Rime, but I just wonder why Priest doesn't have access to the talent? They do lack Ice based spells, but they also lack Lightning based ones, yet they got Heart of the Storm.

 

Is this intended or not? I find it really weird that both Wizard and Druid have access to all four talent but Priest can only learn 3 of them, specially when we have a ice themed Priest subclass.

Actually priests have freeze spells: Iconic Projection.

 

They lack lightning based spells? Check again!

- Spark the Souls of the Righteous (ok here Heart of the Storm will only benefit the priest's own shocking aura, not that of allies)

 

It's not much but it's there. They should simply allow all elemetnal PEN talents for priest. I mean there is a freeze spell every priest can take, so...

Well they have two lightning spell, one freeze spell, so why no secret of rime, specially we have priest of rymrgand, it makes no sense.

I believe the intent was to only allow priests of Rymrgand to have Secrets of Rime, but I'll put in a ticket for consideration by the Systems Design team to see what they think.  If you have other things to say about the ability please continue that as this thread will be linked as a reference.

There is also Symbol of Wael and Call of Rymrgand, not counting scrolls which could benefit from passives like that too (I mean, I have not checked, but even if they did not currently make use of pen passives, perhaps they should).

Generally, as I find it pointless to pick more than 1-2 spells per power level given that there are only 1-2 casts anyway, more passives would be nice.

 

Edit: unless this is so to prevent some OP priest/X combos, but that sounds unlikely.
