  1. Bu-bu-but I was told it's actually about ethics in gaming journalism! When we had an active thread here, I expressed my concern that the GG supporters would post about "personalities" and their "transgressions" that had little to nothing to do with games journalism and was told that really wasn't GG. Now it is?
  2. Found out characters can level out of doing lower level quests in Darkest Dungeon. Good to know but is going to make continuing to do minor quests to build a more stable base to work from when tackling the next level slightly harder.
  3. To be fair, the likelihood of there being an Outsiders film is next to nil at this moment. Katana was on the Amanda Waller created Justice League in the New 52, though so kinda sorta has Waller's support in the comics, I guess... Anyhow, more than likely in the Suicide Squad film, she'll play a role similar to Vixen from the 80s era - someone who like Rick Flagg isn't a criminal and is willingly working with the program.
  4. Certain things just aren't the same when you don't have an audience? *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge* Say no more!
  5. Somehow managed to hurt my thumb, thus disabling my "Kung-Fu Grip" action for a few days. Calax - hopefully there won't be any issues; I'd imagine these kind of things happen a lot.
  6. ^What can I say, seeing the edited down pilot on broadcast syndication really, really turned me off the series.
  7. I'll write-in if I need to vote for "None-of-the-Above" between the various parties (I think Republican, Democrat, Libertarian get on the National ballot each year - Green party too maybe?). I've done it before. Not voting isn't really an option for me. I'm not going to vote for Clinton either, but I think its possible she could get the eventual nod; I just don't think that Trump can. I could be wrong, of course. Okay guys but before you say " I'll will never vote for Clinton " what about a reality where its Trump vs Clinton? See the above. That said, I didn't say "I'll never vote for Clinton". I currently don't plan to vote for her, however.

  9. I've started watching Psych too. It is fun - the only episode I'd seen before was the pilot which is longer than normal and got edited down on the syndicated version. Watching the uncut version I realize why it felt like so much was missing. Weirdly in a month or two I'm going to start watching Babylon 5 too for the first time like Nonek.
  10. Hurlshot I am very glad you raised this, I have saying this for months and yet all you guys seemed almost unconcerned. Clinton seemed like a more popular target Even now I think the likelihood of Trump actually getting out of the primaries and becoming the party nominee is fairly small. That may change if he does well in the early caucus states, but my gut tells me that people aren't actually going to vote for him.
  11. Yeah, that bit can be a pain until you open more slots. The biggest issue I've had is managing money, to be honest. Most everything else can be managed - so far - if you're careful. I've taken out a boss (a witch) that had some interesting challenges, but I had a good group to face her. The Collector is pretty bad when he crops up but I've got through the last fight without having to retreat afterwards. Its funny I find delving into the dungeon kind of stressful, though, so I only play one or two levels and then play something else for awhile. So job well done I guess!
  12. Yes, where are we on Phase III? Note to Self: Find out what Phase III is. Thanks for the quality time, son. Note to Self: Figure out how to guilt trip my son into talking to me outside of board meetings - parents are supposed to be good at that sort of thing, yes? Using the institute's computer system. Note to Self: No wonder everyone here is a nutter - look at the computer screens they use! I guess its time to head back out of the institute. Note to Self: Wonder if anyone will miss this microscope...? We appear to have a Brahmin problem Note to Self: How did it get up on the fence? A nice quiet evening by the seaside Note to Self: Well quiet after all the raiders were dead Another view from a height - the wasteland is almost peaceful in a way. Note to Self: Should I be concerned I'm standing on grating?
  13. Can't say I'm surprised; I think Moffat has done some good stuff as a showrunner but the finale to Season 8 (as far as I've gotten at the moment) was a disaster of jumbled together concepts that was never really brought together in a way that made it seem like his vision for the series was flagging. Might be unfair to say that because I dunno how Season 9 has turned out, but Season 8 really made me think that maybe Moffat was out of gas. I can't say I'll judge Chibnall as showrunner based on episodes he's written (and not having seen Broadchurch, a bit hard to judge off of that) as showrunning is a bit different in the skillset dept.
  14. I'd suggest public domain golden age superheroes. Project Speed Centaur, Project Fantomah, Project Purple Zombie, Project Crime Buster, Project Rainbow Boy, Project Hydroman, Project Black Terror, etc...
  15. Playing Darkest Dungeon. My Man-At-Arms is wearing two magical eye-patches. Not entirely sure how that works, but one negates the negatives of the other leading to a great positive effect on the character. And I guess since the dungeon is dark the fact that he's now effectively blind is ultimately of little consequence.
  16. Watched Legends of Tomorrow. Spent more time pointing out continuity references to others than paying attention to the story. I think I watched it wrong.
  17. They also put nutella on it, so I think it can be dismissed out of hand.
  18. Sprat maybe?
  19. There really isn't any wrong way to make a pizza.1 1Unless you make it with pineapple, naturally.
  20. I just don't like anchovies, so wouldn't want any on my pizza. RE Spinach: I've had a few just cheese and spinich w/tomato sauce pizzas and they were good.
  21. what? ... what? pineapple is a pizza staple? as popular as pepperoni? not in the usa it ain't. hell, not even in hawaii. where, save other than in small portions o' california, is pineapple a pizza staple? we don't particular like pepperoni, but is no way we would ever suggest that pineapple is "about as popular as pepperoni" when speaking o' pizza toppings. http://www.businessinsider.com/the-most-popular-pizza-toppings-chart-2013-10 http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/12/popular-pizza-toppings_n_4261085.html HA! Good Fun! Hawaiian Pizza is very common in South Africa, and its normally Ham and Pineapple Basically every single Pizza place has it on its menu I dunno, for me pretty much tomato, pepper and olives are about the only fruits that I can take on pizza, and culinarily they usually aren't treated as fruits. Fruits on pizza like pineapple just don't taste right to me, too sweet and wrong textured.
  22. They just haven't found the better pizzas yet.
  23. Wowzers dude no way, some fruits absolutely work on Pizza like Avo, Pineapple or Banana. Those just add to the overall taste experience No. Just no. Also - no.
  24. Fruit as a topping and pizza doesn't go together, IMO. That said, I like burritos with and without rice, can't say that I've ever been all that sussed about the rice. That said I'd argue that beans are perfectly okay as insides; my understanding is that the initial burrito fillings were typically meat and refried beans.
  25. Or it could have been that way had someone thought to flesh out the quest a bit. This one sentence sums up pretty much every quest/plot point in Fallout 4. To be honest, more than once playing Fallout 4 I wondered if the production had been rushed on it. So many ideas but much of it is underdeveloped.
