  1. Or for those of us who grew up whith legos and SW.
  2. Right now: At the Gates - Cold Next up: Primordial - The Golden Spiral Not a full-time metalhead, but mostly. There's some rock and classic I like to listen to. And folk also, but it's mostly metal.
  3. Sounds as interesting as most of this forums SW-fans. We got about 350 Darths and 200 names starting with "Dark". Holy originality, Batman!
  4. Malgance, go ooze your teen angst somewhere else. Your points are good, but the method of getting them across... sort of lacks. ------------------ My name, city and province/state/whatever: Jaakko Hukka, Kouvola, Etel
  5. Pretty, simple but pretty. I like your minimalistic style and agree with the comment that western look is refreshing in fan art. And no, I'm not an anime hater, just watched Witch Hunter Robin through.
  6. I'll wait for the free fan servers to become active before buying the game. Personally I hate monthly playing fees. Poor student and all that.
  7. Some more: Lost Vikings 1 and 2 Final Fantasy 6 Final Fantasy 10 Freelancer Deus Ex
  8. Hear, hear! Words of truth.
  9. There's really not much point to play Gothic 2 before playing the first one. Most of the charm is lost when none of the names/persons/locations ring a bell. It's incredible how comfortable it can feel to meet your old gang again after all the mess you've been through. The game also has a rather immersive world to explore. None of that Morrowind "robot-NPCs"-stuff, here it's all about gaming experience. Too bad the combat, and ultimately the whole "chosen one"-storyline stinks. Still one of my favorite CRPG - series.
  10. Thank you. These forums are a gift.
  11. Sounds cool, but the separatedly made AI-card sounds even better. Give the NPCs brains or brain.
  12. Yes, but you still shouldn't have quoted his whole post to just reply with a short sentence. Easier for us readers if you don't.
  13. Hahahaa! That poster quite simply sucks. And yes. That was my contribution.
  14. Well, I needed a thief and a second mage and Jan just was very restricted. Thief/Illusionist? Very bad. On the other hand, I was roleplaying and didn't feel very comfortable to leave my sister behind for a vampire with god-like powers, in a dungeon under a madhouse.
  15. Zenslinger, amaze us with your skills of political correctness.
  16. Might somebody happen to know where I might get a decent looking pirate themed wallpaper? Something not very cartoony and of large resolution-
  17. And have no character creation? NO.
  18. I was going to add Gothic to my list, but I sort of forgot about it. Must be huge armies of insanely hard orcs in the sequel that blur my memory
  19. Mkreku, for a girlfriend sure " I used to have April from The Longest Journey and Dreamfall in my desktop, but my recently appeared fandom of Freelancer has changed it to a screenshot of two Liberty Patriots flying next to the Manhattan atmosphere. Oh, here's the April backround http://www.dreamfall.com/downloads/wallpap...l/1280x1024.jpg
  20. Knowing the source of my avatar tells a lot of the kind of character I prefer to play. Be the game on board, on paper or online.
  21. Been also reading that for a while. I too like the indestructible paladins So fitting.
  22. What the hell, I liked BG2 all the way to the Underdark, where it started to bug me, add the immense irritation named Imoen, who I had to take with me, in to that and you get a pretty good idea why I prefer IWD 2 and PS:T. Underdark looked great and had interesting encounters but after I played through the Elder Orb - nest and made my way to the Illithid Dungeon, the hacking'n'slashing was so tedious, that the game didn't really interest me anymore. Other irritation, besides the constant yattering of NPCs, was the overflow of quests. No matter where I adventured, there was a continuous stream of idiots begging me to do FedEx-quets. I was halfly waiting for that dreaded "kill some rats from my basement"-quest IWD at least gave me a sense of adventure. And BG 2 even had a more interesting atmosphere. Before playing it, I thought I loved pirates and rogues, but Brynn Law was a letdown. No matter; I'm going to play again soon. I love the NPC's that much
  23. Adrian, some really good games there.
  24. That thing gives me serious Evil Dead - vibes
  25. I liked the demo, but, like for instance TotSC, would never buy the full game. Same ****, different day.
