  1. I never wathed the sequel or the prequel. I've always suspected that the other films would ruin the first for me. After all, the first film was more about the psychology of people placed under extreme stress than about the cube itself, and what can you say about that in a sequel that hasn't been said already? On the other hand, when they make Cube3: Timecube, I'll be first in the line for tickets. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no, i recommend 'all the president's men'. woodward and bernstein uncovering the watergate scandal. brilliant movie! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0074119/ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I recommend reading the book and ditching the movie altogether.
  2. Ehrmm, surely they have Reznor? To insure the mood.
  3. Hah, so you're just bitter. Should've known. So whatever any of us writes, you'll label it as drivel and lies. :D
  4. I don't mean I won't play IV, I'm just not that hyped about Ravenware. :D
  5. ^Which is a hell of a lot more interesting than anything Raven, the kings of mediocre, can make up.
  6. lol Whatever you say, bub.
  7. Really fair to compare a bustling three level city to an abandoned mining moon. Especially when other isn't even an intro level, but a real planet.
  8. Great avatar, Hades.
  9. Starcraft for teh win.
  10. Hih, my MW is pirated. Ohnoes, did I write that?
  11. Dogma is way funnier.
  12. Hmm, I think I would pack my towel and ask Ford if he can be bothered ,in that case. I think still lives in Cloucestershire.
  13. Beyond gold. PA-quality.
  14. Not Greek? Oh, you're not into the whole pederast-thing, old chap?
  15. ^Lame. Seriously, the new Rasmus just sucks big throbbing megalithic emo weenies. Rasmus - Ghostbusters(cover)
  16. Ghost goes gold?
  17. Advance Wars was so dry. So was the fantsy version for java mobiles. I usually like that kind of gameplay, micro-tactics and rock-paper-scissors-gameplay, but Advance Wars just reeked of "first try" and was boring. A pity.
  18. Hopefully never. We're so tied with the EU and Nato as it is. I do hope I'll never have to vow by a common constitutional act. Call me a natinalist, but I'd much rather let countries solve their own issues and "be helped" only when asked. Not to mention half of the EU countries playing for their own gain anyway. I can't stand that. Why join if your only target is to boss little countries and reap gains?
  19. Settings, meh. Knights is basically fantasy with space ships. Everything from ancient builders to swords and sorcery, etc is there. Space just gives it a bit of levity. And anyway, some of the best rpgs are not fantasy, like, heck Fallout. I doubt one could find a better example. See, the thing is that tastes rule above all. Especially when bad. Someone's hit can be someone shit. For example; I absolutely abhored FF 10's paradise-sci-fi-retro-grunge-trip, but it's still unique in every sense of the word. Let's take another example; Planescape: Torment's setting looks very fantasy-like at first sight. Then you notice angels and demons talking in the supermarket line about theology, news agents sell data sticks to Menzoberranzian durgars while Olympian gods sit and sip cafe latt
  20. Sheesh, one of these "if this was like that then what would you..."-pollutes. Hem, hem. Depending on how the end was coming(meteors, zombies, magneto, shtf, hand of god, etc)I'd propably hit my favorite joint with the people I'd like, well...to stand with in the end and perform various decadent activities. Lewd behaviour and avid use of narcotics. But that's only if it's a natural catasthrope or somekind of human weapon. In case of zombies; we have a zombie survival thread somewhere in the forums. Read it, learn it, live by it. Now, were it god(Brahman, Iehova, Jahve elohim, Xenu, Satan, Eru Iluvatar, Yog Sototh, etc) that was handing judgement; I'd propably pray and then stand in line. Whatcha gonna do? Run? Of course if Frau Fortuna smiles upon me and I find immortality before the apocalypse, I doubt I'll stay here and boil with the likes of you people. Me, I'm off to Epsilon Pegasi. Or maybe the Revelation Zone. Whichever comes first. Edit, ze typoes!
  21. There was nothing unique in K1's story, neither was it surprising or touching or any of the other merits usually granted by the fans. First SW rpg, and the best SW game since X-Wing Alliance, but when it comes to roleplaying games and their stories and plots; K1 was mediocre. Decent enought to keep me interested, but nothing to remember fondly. Same goes for characters; they felt like a rehashes of previous Bio-persnas, it was the setting that gave them the "new". Granted, some quirks were clever and I laughed once with Jolee's grumpiness, but depth was nonexistant. NPCs were still one of the game's stronger points. I got my money's worth.
  22. ^Eclectic Apocalyptica - Toreador II
  23. Immortal - Call of the Wintermoon I'd so post the video, but alas, time doesn't allow.
