  1. Hah, I was wondering why you used the german name instead of the 'original' norwegian one.
  2. ^Gaaahhh... even Lumsk is better. Immortal - At the Heart of Winter
  3. Hah, you remind me of the Theban Immortals. :D Actually, the only instance in history a moral code, or a strict ethos was followed to the letter, was when the Order of St. John took hold of Malta. If self-sacrifice had an avatar, it would be the Hospital Knights.
  4. Yeah. the jedi are more of an archetype. Imagine how hard would such a moral code and tradition be followed if applied to the real world. E.g Knights Templar.
  5. Travis Charest still can't draw for siht. Well, he does Wildcats, the most lame superhero comic series in existence(not counting Gen-13) so that's to be expected.
  6. I say you're reading too much into this. Edit: And the internet crashed when I first tried to wirte this, so I bet eh whole universe is going to disagree with me.
  7. I meant Diablo 2 and Dungeon Siege 2. Not Dungeon Siege 1 and 2. Just to get that cleared. I don't think they're comparable.
  8. I'm just a history bum, that's why I like bullying small people. Anyway, have you read Edda?
  9. I knew you'd say that. Idiot.
  10. Let's clear this once and for all: Honor or ethos or whatever is something the posmodern world has made up. Back then it was all about expansion and survival. Realms in constant war etc. You need a nation in peace in order for ideas and ethics to raise up. Edit: Now that I'm on a roll anyway. The Samurai were a corrupt class of sheephumpers and tyrants, many of which were gays. The Bushido meant siht when there was power to grab. Rape and pillage, people. Rape and pillage.
  11. Yes. As in; they're two totally different games. Which is better? Well, that's a different subject.
  12. Not even in the same league, those two.
  13. I know. You told me when I asked it, remember?
  14. Vikings didn't rape and pillage just for some arbitrary notion like 'honor'. They did it for raping and pillaging. The relevant shores were much more arable and bountiful than old Scandinavia.
  15. Newskool hack n' slash. Pay no mind to it.
  16. At the Gates - Slaughter of the Soul
  17. Eh, if I had to post one lyrical treat it would be this. At the Gates - Unto Others You hold high the banner of self-deceit Encaged in the dogmas of life, you join the elite [Chorus:] My judas-window stays shut - shut forever more My judas-window stays shut - shut forever more You mock the weak for not giving you their trust In your world of make beleive, where statues turn to dust [Chorus:] You walk through what is me Stare blind - cannot see Your thoughts flee to a different land They are free, but you are bound Silenced forever, the walls are closing in The keys to our damnation - burial... burial within [Chorus:] ...shut forever more Simply put, it's great to sing to
  18. We need a new comic thread. Seriously. And as I am too lazy to make one, that role falls on one of you othe forum primates. Do your worst.
  19. I'd value your standing in this issue as...fascinating.
  20. The other white meat, you mean?
  21. Mister Allans Chu, the Board Ninja.
  22. Puppies? I vividly remember the baby cooing and bloody screams. I'm sure they were toddlers.
  23. -Onasi Outfitters, serving the Galaxy since 3462.
  24. As a side comment to slip here(my interest on the actual discussion is nil): Judging from your sig, mr Chu, you don't seem to hold much love for Epiphany.
