IW was good, not great but good. Very fluid design and the game worked.

And the people who upload abandonware are definetly not pirates, since who else than those who really love games would play something so ancient like Populous or Death Rally. There's nothing that's newer than about a decade in abandonware sites And as far as I know, the only place you still could buy a copy of SS2 is Ebay. Which is a closed option for most people outside Merikuh.

You're so right about IWD 2. It's horribly underrated, must be one of my favorite games ever. A real adventure. Just like Dreamfall, I ****ing I love wintery steampunk.

I think Masquerade was a bloated abomination that stretched from it's seams and Requiem is a much needed redemption for the setting. The lore was just too much.

You make a valid point about Ensemble. There was that SW RTS that was basicly a AOE 2 skinpack done by ES. I get the distant feeling that this one might be a skinpack for AOE3.

Bash-fights were great, so was trying to crash your pals warthy with your own in Silent Cartographer. Yeah, and sword fights in mid-air. ^_^ I like Library. I like it because it's nothing but action all the way. That's why I play FPS'. About Wars, I think it could be a squad-based thing. Not squads as in DoW, but squads as in Freedom Fighters. You know, low-scale skirmish with the odd big fight here and there. Would fit the world a whole lot better.

Yeah, we get that often too. I expect that there's going to be a "HAHA FOOLED U" LOLZ-summer again after a few weeks.
