  1. Oh, ok. I've heard different views on that, but I take the word of a native. Look, I'm not trying to associate Denmark with anything, but you'd do well to consider how much half a decade of politics can change a nation. People forget.
  2. actually it turns out only the vehicles do this... If the bodies are fresh a necron lord can rez everything but after a while it's impossible. The campaign is a little stale. No real objectives in most of the maps except for demolish your opponents hq. Kinda like rise of legends without the pain of having to kill everything. So far, my nemesis with the tau has been the IG amazingly. Primairly because the IG is also infantry based but their infantry is designed to be so much chaff so that the kasarkin or orgryn or whatever squads will be able to murder my poor fire warriors. But the up side is that the only thing that can oppose me in the Space Marines is a dreadnaught, and that's if I haven't got the final tier of units yet. (the major letdown of the Tau is that they have trouble with a vehicles). Eldar just can't stand up to fire warriors range/power combonation. Chaos are just easy because the comp likes to spam cultists Orks are a pain. Because once they bum rush you enough and get in close you get murdered. usually I take care of this by having either a Crisis unit or my commander running around with a flame thrower. The best way to kill Tau is to get a bunch of fast infantry that are hand to hand and charge... if your fighting lone units of fire warriors it'll be easy because fire warriors have absolutly no Sight range. But if theres a pathfinder squad, or the Commander nearby your screwed because the Tau have such incredible range. Also tau bases suck for turtles because there is no such thing as a static defense... only listening posts. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The fighting tactics against Tau are a given, since close combat is their "racial" lack, so to say. In the demo the kroot couldn't really outfigth anything and so you had to rely on long range, kroot teams would just suicide themselves on the higher tier Astartes. well, kroot hounds were okay, but you couldn't train much of them and the got tied up fast. Everything else sounds pretty good. I'm curious about IG however, I've never personally played as them, but the idea I've gotten from other players is that they are basically relying in entrenchments and tracked heavy armor. Yet you comment on their high constitution, if I understood correctly, so how are they supposed to be played in DoW? In the demo you could turtle really effectively and build a battleline through the levels, but entrenchment is not really modelled to the game.
  3. Hahhahhah, lockpicks are Gabs' werewolf!
  4. Not that I exactly care, but isn't it a tad bit early for doom and gloom?
  5. Just wait till I get my armored nobz on the way. 'Ere we go, 'ere we go, 'ere we go...
  6. I think it's important to note that without this Iraq adventure, there'd be half a million less corpses.
  7. Who are these neo-nazis you talk about? O ally of Nazi Germany in WW2. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hah, I totally baited Hitler back then. And shipped 50 000 jews offseas. I thought we were talking about Danske Folkpartiet, so I wrote about them. I didn't mean Danes in general, you silly man. All you are responsible for is the ability to talk Swedish while eating hot porridge.
  8. No offense, but why are you in this kind of forum if you haven't played K2 and disliked K1? Just seems kind of odd. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> None taken. Because of this, this, that and this teensy thing. I hardly post around the other parts.
  9. Thank you Baley for cooling me off. Mesa gonna sleep.
  10. ^Ugh. A ton of "Ugh". I see your Cruxshadows and raise a Impaled Nazarene - Coraxo kuolemaa Saatanaa kuolemaa SAATANAA
  11. Equip lockpicks, push the relevant button of your belt-inventory(1-9) and click and hold your cursor on the thing you want to lockpick.
  12. Awww, meta. You shouldn't have.
  13. So, none reads my posts. Great.
  14. What, Hellbane isn't ballsy enough? I'll totally make my own Ram Rod of Total Burnination.
  15. You plus 4 other codgers. Plus summonables plus familiars. GOTY!
  16. Like the wanton acts of revenge?
  17. Edward Scissorhands was cool. I'm completely apalled by Burton's style nowadays and Elfman always sounds the same, but goddamn that was some fine acting.
  18. The Vision Bleak - The Charm is done
  19. Well, too bad for them, but good thing it's not a new crisis. Just some poor sod flying in the mist and smog.
  20. With my KGB comment I meant Putin's history(he started his career in that facility) and how such an underhanded way to remove a treath to Motherland would come easily from him. FFS probably has nothing to do with it.
  21. So, I'll probably have a huge amount of cannon fodder available for the inevitable huge end battle? Cool. I've always had a standard party I stay with the whole game.
  22. Hahhah, that's great. I bet the necrons can just zao themselves back in shape with the right units?
  23. 5, 7 and 9 are awesome. Hype through the roof!
