  9. Down tha RTR-ghetto, yo, someone threw out the suggestion that Mongol:TW would model all the affected peoples and cultures on the map. So the game wouldn't actually be about a continent, but an era. From Lithuanian Empire to the harsh winds of Sinkichon sounds a bit utopic, but properly executed and given the same kind of centrism as Rome got in RTW, more units and more elaborate campaign, conquering the known world as Mongol Khanate could be beyond awesome. Of course, the map has to be centered on the historical stretch of the Mongol Empire with Europe on the border and Japan on the other, they could never model the whole Eurasia.
  10. Writing an argumentative essay on euthanasia. It's killing me. :D
  11. Argh, I hate how they lack those spells in D&D. It's always the one thing that takes them off my list. Until we get bleeding rules, I need those spells. So, I guess I don't take a druid aboard this time either. Unless it has amazing wit or performs some much-needed role other than healer.
  12. from ze demo
  13. I noticed the druid. Does 3.5 give them raise dead-like spells?
  14. Watching Hellsing Ultimate and getting ready to sleep. I need to get a paper out tomorrow and so I'll sleep earlier today.
  15. Laughing at Gabs for not being able to add anything worthwhile or funny even to a spam topic, again. Also, I'm trying to decide on which of these http://dir.yahoo.com/society_and_culture/issues_and_causes I'm going to write a trhee page argumentative essay for my Academic Writing course and I'm stumped. Gee, sure it is only for the day after tomorrow, but usually I can come up with something in matter of hours. Right now I'm just fiddling with Youtube and trying to form up a concise argument against or for any of those subjects. Initially, I decided to start with the history revision topic, namely holocaust, and argue against Zuldner's wacky ideas, but the problem still is the amount of infromation, it's like trying to pick a coin from a pond and then noticing it's a ****ing ocean. I talked about the subject with some of the history students here and it would be rather simply to produce counter arguments against the revision(Nazis documenting everything, personal accounts on holocaust, Allies having their ow documents), but that would mean diving into that ocean for citation and linking my arguments with evidence. It's just...too much. I know I'm the one to blame here, i should have started this writing before Saturday, but it just dragged on, while I tried to decide on a topic. Next, I chose urban sprawl as a topic, since it's intereting. Bad decision, since while it's deceptively easy to argue against, there's really no supporters for frog-leaping or low-density housing since everyone pretty much agrees they are a bad thing and I can't just argue against some abstract subject, can I? I need a name or a text that states arguments for and so far the only one I've found is Wikipedia. And that's serious no, I guess. I wouldn't go about citing the thing anyway. I'm gonna read more on this, but right now it's on hold. Then there's the ever-looming euthanasia. Seems easy: present the subject, make your agument, add some Sciavo for flavour and you have a paper. But then again, everyone is gonna write about it. And it's so goddamn bland subject. Yes, yes, wasted lives and the unmorality of it all oh dear, but there's so many arguments to and for that the topic is rather trodden on. Even if I could write a compelling essay on the thing and state once again that's it bad, baaaaad or maybe good, it would just be left hanging on the air since it's such a relative subject. "Whose life is it anyway?" Yeah, I was thinking the same.
  16. I'd argue that, yes. I haven't played anything for two weeks, not counting a short two hour spur of Silent Hill 3 yesterday. And I was mostly watching and giving input anyway.
  17. Omnium Gatherum - The Nolan's Fati For how long have they done thy will "The sun of midnight is ever the son" How much it takes to see what burns our skin Oh what have we achieved by this Words are spoken and things are done, What is wrong God is damned but god's animal mother is alright "I can't find myself, Don't need this anymore" (Well, At least my mother has faith in magic) The loss of strength could not have me Asinine and golden I ride to this city While by our lady precious chaos rules For how long has all been in dirt Let's hope it rains, I think they're dying or is it just me Well, At least the stars gave birth to something new But if it's the kind of love and it's the kind of love That we've been warned about, They're in trouble And the stakes are high as that of Bruno's For all the humble tyrants nowadays Is it better to keep on singing "Your paths were never even close to mine" When I was cast aside I thought it'd be my fate With hollow eyes Proserpina's garden is left behind And the stakes are high as that of Bruno's For all the humble tyrants nowadays Is it better to keep on singing "Your paths were never even close to mine" \,,/ listen to it
