Where do you set your STR?
SithLord#1 replied to Obireel Y Doncha's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It all depends on what class I plan on being. I never really level up dexterity or strength because I use the points on Wisdom. :D -
What i want for a Kotor 3 :p
SithLord#1 replied to Kggabberman's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Sometimes telling the Public about a Game in development will get peoples hopes up. Big Blue Box did that and people were upset by the amount of things that were cut. Its probably best that no one knows if someone is working on it yet or not. Hopefully they are :D -
KOTOR II: I am Changed for the Experience (no spo
SithLord#1 replied to ATB's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I have to say that I really liked this game too. It is one of my favorite games for Xbox. I personally like RPG's but I went into this game thinking that it was going to be ok and not nearly as good as the origional KotOR, wow i feel that my judgement was flawed. This game has a unique feeling to it just like KotOR 1. I felt betrayed when there was betrayal, I wanted revenge , i wanted to offer others redemption, and i felt absorbed into the game. Some people may believe that the story sucked, but this games real story is hard to understand if you dont pay attention and take advantage of certain dialogue choices. This is also probably my favorite Xbox game of all time. I played this game over and over again just to get everything out of it and I still enjoy playing it. Don't tell me this game was bad because it wasn't. -
For DS: I got Raith Kuraff on random name generator. Thats one of my favorites.

Malak's Lightsaber & Armor
SithLord#1 replied to KotOR_rules2004's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I saw a post on another cite saying that he got Malaks armor from Fassa at the Nar Shadaa docks. He said he saved the game before he talked to him and reloaded like 15 times before Fassa gave him Malaks armor. I dont know if its true because i dont remember getting anything from Fassa but then again I dont remember talking to him after i finished his bonus mission. But if it is in the game its location is completely random. -
I had trouble facing Darth Traya especially when there were 3 floating lightsabers

I think you are right because Morrowind was already out for the Xbox and when Morrowind Game of the Year edition came out, it got a lower score then the regular one. They must not like repetition.

I liked, and still do, Warcraft III. I had a lot of fun making my own games on its Map Editor. I sucked at normal games though, couldn't build fast enough.

For Those That Love This Game...
SithLord#1 replied to DrSpock's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
For myself I think KotOR2 is as good as the first one (not better, stronger in some areas, weaker in others, similar end result tho): 1) Storyline: I found the storyline to be much more advanced then the first one. It had a more mature theme to it then KotOR1 had. As a older gamer, I grow tired of the simplistic storylines so appreciate when any game designer incorperates a more mature nature to the game (no im not talking about porn and swearing, neither of those mean mature imo). There were twists, intrige, betreyals, multiple romances, politics added into part 2s storyline. I really think its the better of the two storylines but for some reason didnt run as smoothly as part 1s (that might be because of all the extras involved in part 2s story). 2) Characters: I felt much closer to more characters in kotor2 then I did in part 1. I found myself thinking of them as actual characters rather then npc party members for the most part (exceptions being GOTO (which I totally hated) and Hanhaar). In part one I really was only interested in my character, Bastila, and Carth. None of the other characters managed to grab me and maintain my attention for the whole game! At the end of part 2, even tho Kreia tells you their futures, I fouynd myself wanting to know more about them and what happens. I just didnt have that feeling after part 1 in terms of characters. 3) far as the engine and all that, I really didnt notice a difference (other then new force powers) between 1 and 2. It was the actual story that hooked me this time around. KotOR1 was a awsome game and hooked me on Star Wars (altho that Repubic demo turned me totally and completely back off, gawd I hate mindless FPS's). At the end of one I just wanted to play more! It wasnt enough, I wanted more game. At the end of two (as I said above) I not only wanted to play more again, but I wanted to know what happens to each character!!! 4) and to be honest I prefered starting as a jedi in part2. I always hated part 1 for those levels before you become a jedi. Just wasnt my cup of tea in that regard. In the end, I think part 1 was more polished and definately ran smoother, but I think part 2 was the bigger undertaking and took KotOR series out of the kiddies land and placed it firmly in the hands of a mature design for adults. Part 1 was great fun but its story wasnt anything beyond that of a teen agers novel. Part 2 was in many ways darker and more complexe. Anyways, thats my take on it Love both games and cant wait for part 3 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No need to write a post on your own when there's someone who nailed it already for you <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Your right. :D Everything above applys to my feelings towards the game. Thanks for already posting it for me. -
the best place to start out after Telos
SithLord#1 replied to kevin4's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I say Dantooine even if your darkside. I had more trouble with Vrook when I was a darkside guardian then I did when i was DS consular. If im running out of medpacks I run away until he can't see me then lay down 13 average frag mines and let him do the rest. -
I liked: T3-M4: He was an interesting little trash compactor. HK-47: His definition of love was the best thing ive ever heard. :D Atton: He had some funny lines if you beat the game LS then DS. Or if u were female. Kreia: For an old witch who lost her hand, she had a lot to teach me. Visas: She was so easy to influence to the dark or light side and she was good with a light saber. Hanharr: he was a big unstoppable ball of fur Mandalore: Canderous has returned. Just equip him with the Twin Suns swords and let him go. I disliked: Handmaiden: Just break your stupid oath already. G0-T0: He couldn't take to many hits and i only used him in the tomb of Freedon Nadd. Mira: "Blah Blah blah... Old man" I heard that. Bao-Dur: He had some useful skills, but i needed the same skills to repair T3 soo ya. "HK-47 what is love?" HK-47: "Love is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope." You: "HK-47, why are you angry at meatbags?" HK-47: "Well Master, I dont like when Humans forget about droids and they are thought of as furnishings." T3-M4: "Breet dee oop" HK-47 " Oh shut up you little Trash Compacter. Now where was I, ah yes i hate when droids are thought of as furnishings"

I liked Korriban so many creatures to kill I didn't like Malachor V, that place should of fell apart during the Mandalorian wars.

No it did not suck. I feel that the ending is leading to something bigger that will be in another game. I went through the game quickly and didn't understand the first time. I then went back and played at a slower speed so that I could understand the story. I think it was a better ending the some other recent overhyped game endings.
