Don't forget that LA isn't doing us a favor by having this game made. This is a business, and we are the customers. If we make enough noise about what we want they will think twice about not releasing tools and model formats.

New clothes?!!! Way too much work?!!! Bulls***!! Last time I was joking but now I'm serious. There's no reason to have those same old tired threads. It's not too much effort. If it's too much effort to not recycle threads from a previous game and create new ones then hell what's the point of creating a new game in the first place? Exactly! There is none! If I don't at the very least see new clothes within the first twent minutes I'll....I'll....I'll...*sigh*...continue playing. The voice acting was actually pretty good in KOTOR so I just listened to the dialogue. The face is the most important part of any character. Even more so in KOTOR as you watch the dark side consume you. You know what, how about we compromise, the devs can make beautifuly rendered models that can act as well as the voices for those that appreciate those sorts of things. And for you the can make your head a stick with either a smiley face or a frowny face for your 'toon'.

*cough*modtools*cough* Seriously merentha are you really suggesting we all settle for less? Unless you wanted to make your animations making a face work with the existing animations is about the same difficulty as it would be if the faces had pac man animations. And anyway he wouldn't necessarily have to make his own face from scratch he could just reskin one of the in-game or user-made faces. In any case more faces is not a bad thing, user-made or not. And learning who to animate isn't all that bad an idea either.

That's a good point, I'd rather they spent the time to get people with range weapons to use them like range weapons...

Thanks for the compliments. The first and second sketches was just me working out the designs, perhaps I shouldn't have posted them... Modeling is basicly done, some clipping at the waist but I'll fix that. The model is 3830 polys.

It was a quick sketch before work but in my head, juhani is a brusier but the fact she's an alien and looking at how big male cathar are(see below) i feel I have a little leeway in how she looks anyway. Plus with her breast comming out of her top and one look below the waist should clear up any misunderstandings.

Really? I think my sketches are 100 times beter than my modeling when I try. Or do you just not like my style?

Building the pelvis a diffrent way, it needs smoothing but it should give me better results than my previous method.

I did vote no you charming devil, it just wasn't adequate enough to express my revulsion of this horrible jar-jar-like idea. 1 You'd take your head off, or at least put your eye out kid. 2 The blade of a lightsaber is weightless energy it wouldn't behave anything like a whip 3 The starwars universe wouldn't even have the technology to make something like this. 4 Lightsabers burn energy pretty fast(if I remember correctly) the constant contact with the ground where it would have to be unless the jedi turned the saberwhip of at the end of every attack or swung it around her head all day(see point #1) would drain it bettery pretty fast. All but the most impatient sith apprentice could just wait her out. 5 Whip against sword or even blaster would be insanely ineffective because of the speed diffrence between them. Good enough doll?
