  1. Batman doesn't wear a chestplate.
  2. Batman wore a cape and cowl. Juhani has neither. Her costume is black because she's evil(ish) and this is Starwars. And while I was reading it Batman wore blue and gray then black and grey. You know goth kids didn't invent wearing all black, I've been wearing all black for years now and I don't gel my hair or own a single ring. Luke wears all black! Vader wears all black! Maul wears all black! The sith lord shown in the preview wears all black! I'm conforming to an established star wars archetype! Only one person has said anything about hair! This is what I asked about! This is your chance to influence me!
  3. Still not done with it(got distracted with a personal project) but I was bored so I whipped up some quick textures for it. I'm still using the original head because it's too nice to redo without a good reason and I'm on the fence about what changes would fit Juhani's character. I did a little research and there's no reason why juhani cant have a full head of hair. With her built in streaks it's very tempting to do something drastic but again I don't want to get too far away from the character. I'll probably regret asking you this but what do you think? What hair style would you like to see?
  4. Are more than two devs even reading any of this?
  5. DVD drives have been much more reliable in my experience. If you scratch the top of a dvd you deserve to lose the info.
  6. You get to act out your bases desires. You get the chance for power unbound by morals or the common good. You get to be on the winning team because lets face it the jedi are too weak to win.
  7. Can you anwser my questions?
  8. Saber throwing has gotten out of hand. The whip is impossible read my earlier post. Pretending that the whip behaved like you wanted it would still touch the ground draining it making things much more hazzardous for the weilder than any opponent.
  9. Neither is netimmerse, this is the same engine used on Pirates and the playboy mansion. I talked to one of the devs on morrowind and asked him why they didn't go with the unreal engine. His anwser had nothing to do with that. He said it was about the engines inability to handle large number of characters on screen at once(This was a while ago so I may be a little off but I am certain I don't remember having that many anything on the screen ever in all my experience playing morrowind). This is why they pay programers. I am convinced that it can be done just looking at my collection of mutators alone.
  10. So I think you're confusing content with the engine and I want to avoid arguing about it.
  11. I'm unconvinced.
  12. I'm quickly learning why so many people flat out dismiss anything in the EU. It seems Lucas has been lax in the extreme when it comes to approving the crap that makes it into print. I belive I also saw curving lightsaber in the D6 rpg but then they also had saber-axes so...
  13. Last time I checked this was about Lightsaber whips. People have brought up Laser whips and while I'm not thrilled about it, my main argument is that lightsaber whips are impossible.
  14. I'd rather have Daggerfall made with the Morrowind engine. Why? Why not? Well for one Unreal 3.0 is amazing(example). The engine running morrowind was mediocre when it came out, now it's old and mediocre. Unreal Engine 3
  15. I'd rather have Daggerfall made with the Morrowind engine. Why?
  16. Probably to make it look less like murder, in the next super special edition they'll add the missing singing gungan number(s?) and han and greedo will be holding walkie talkies instead of blasters.
  17. I'd rather have Daggerfall recreated with Unreal Engine 3.0.
  18. I'm smart enough not to take the test.
  19. Greedo missed. Vader was blaster proof. I understand but I don't like it. I'm a big fan of Bushido Blade and the most rewarding experiences I had with Unreal Tournament was an instant gibbing death match with a bunch of crack shots. I wish the system were more about not getting hit instead of stocking up on constitution points and armor. In KOTOR(after a few levels) I never feared for my characters life when I went into battle because for the most part no one and nothing was really that dangerous, It was as if we all went to war with wiffle bats. It just seems to be missing the sense of danger. You know what would be nice? wounding and fatigue animation. instead of getting bashed in the head just show all non fatal hits with a lightsaber(or all weapons actually, have you ever been hit in the head with a stich and coutinued to fight?) as glancing shots. I'm not holding my breath for severed limbs but diffrent branching animations that actually show the progress of each individual fight would put this game in the history books. Neverwinter nights had diffrent settings that allowed the user to set which set of rules the game would follow. I feature like this and or just allowing us to tweak the rules in an ini file would also be great since not everyone will not agree with everything I just said.
  20. read my post again, that's the joke in a nut shell...
  21. So will I be able to get through the game if I focus on my skills? or for that matter my force powers? I played through the game as a darkside consular expecting to lay out Malak with my awe insipreing force lightning(which by the way I thought was too easy to get in the first place). Not only did he run right through my lightning(dodgeing or resisting?) even when it hit he didn't even flinch. Is lightning going to change to be more like the movie where Palpatine layed out Luke and killed Vader with it or is it just goint to be another meaningless lightshow that you can get at levet six and does moderate damage but you still better be ready to pick up a lightsaber or run?
  22. This is true, the game had built-in spoilers.
