...Speaking of things that annoyed me. Cinemas. I have a pretty good PC, all that power means nothing durring KOTOR's prerendered cinemas. I'd like to see the cutscene in this game to use the in game engine as much as possible if not all the time. It just looks better to me anyway.. Bit late now for me to do anything about that plus this topic sort of is about the game(definitely if they release the modding tools).

One of the things that nagged, no annoyed, no drove me mad about KOTOR was that aside from a regenetive ability Canderous was as powerful as carth. This should not be. I always thought he should have had more of an advantage over carth. I'd come to expect more varied and overwhelming firepower from a mandalorian! Another thing I wanted was for weapons to have built in alt attacks unique to that weapon or weapon type. Combine this with my idea for a feat the allows characters to weild two handed weapons with one hand and you have the concept for Canderous' new heavy repeating blaster.

Anyone want to let me in on what the ... is for this time?

I can see how that would make it seem, well, not quite a lightsaber... I didn't model the blade because I wanted to be sure how the blade was done before I made anything. Painfull yes but then juhani doesn't sit much... another saber

I already modeled her lightsabers(because they were easy). It's not textured yet.

I'm just posting stuff I've designed and or will try to get into the game one way or the other. Think of this as my dumping ground for my KOTOR/KOTORII ideas. First up is Juhani. Hmm I made a lightsaber like this for my sith lord without even knowing about this, though I did know you could change the length on any lightsaber. Retnuh: I'm guessing you're not a fan of the x-saber then?

so you take on a whole planet, right? first thing that happens is: selkath authorities will ground your ship. they'll lock down the hangar bay, put force fields all over the place and swarm the place with combat droids next thing that will happen is: selkath patrols will start looking for you- no problem with all those little security droids flying around. once they have located you, they will effectively shut down the section of the station you are in. then they will simply flood it. end of story. come on, guys- this is a computer game. you want roleplaying? call your friends over for a session. Ah but thats the beauty of Mann and the Selkath. They have only one city. All I have to do is shut down the city's power and their blind. All their leader are located in a central unguarded location. By the time I got to Mann I could slaughter that group with only Juhani as a bodyguard. Now they are leaderless. This leaves me with some free time to handle any remaining sith, enslave the civilians, and to either hire or kill the mercenaries. That done I must prepare for any Selkath response. I line the perimeter of the city with sonic barriers and dump spice and any other poison on hand into the surrounding sea. From this base and a more secure Ebon Hawk or a stolen Pre-stardestroyer in orbit I'd launch patrols to hunt for selkath, spread poison, and collect any of that healing substance we could I have no friends that roleplay...

Boba

It would seem as though a completely irrilevant character (Boba Fett) was turned into a cult by Star Wars geek fans who thought his armor looked cool. Because of that, an entire family line of Fetts streching across the eons had to be created so that each Sta Wars story has to have one of those goofes around. My opinion ?!? The hell with Boba Fettucine and his eternal progenie... I like boba fett's lines and his tactics. As with most things Starwars, I only really like OT stuff. I hate jango, I hate his face I wish I'd never seen his face. It killed some of the mistique and mystery that surrounded Boba. Nothing and no one they could have dug up could beat imagining or just not knowing what was beneath the mask, I thought lucas learned this lesson with vader but no. I don't think There should be a Fett in this game though. I see the mandalorians as outsiders and not so entangled in every aspect of republic history...

I was under the impression he only directed the first movie in the original trilogy. All things in life require luck. Lucas didn't create Starwars by himself. Lucas is succesful because he owns a valuable franchise he hired some very talented people to help him create, sucessfuly marketed toys and spin-offs and has a extreemely loyal fanbase.

Or rather affect how well upgrades function. Keeping you from using something based on levels is one of my major dislikes in MMORPG's. It just seems to pull me out of the game and remind me it is a game.

I wanted to slaughter the selkath. I'd like to be able to pick a fight with more people(maybe not all since that could kill the game). I'd have liked to go back to mann after I fell to teach them a lesson....

The only way I'd enjoy Swoop racing is if I(or one of my teammates) could win just by being a better mechanic in-game(makes that repair skill seem like a better investment) as well as a good pilot(where's that pilot skill).

Because making and using a normal saber is already very hard. Luke failed the first time he tried to construct a lightsaber. I really don't let the anyone dictate what's 'cool' to me. And anyway this isn't a competetion, there can't really be a winner since this is what each of us likes personaly. As for samurai(and reality), note that virtually every school uses a single blade, and that this was a show. That being said this is a game and you should have the option to use whatever you want. Just don't expect me to think it's cool. ... Anyway the lightsaber is supposed to be an extension of a jedi and a symbol of his connection to the force. It is supposed to be secondary to the jedi's skill and power not the source, it's a tool. Another thing I wonder about is why any number of jedi would want to use something as aggressive as the staff, since it's value is decidedly tilted in favor of offence(also, how do the keep their robe intact using the thing?) To me, It just looks cooler to walk into a room full of enemies armed wit a single saber or gun. I wonder if there'll be a saber bubble shield at this rate...
