I'm sure we could be playing zork but this is a good and as far as I know easy feature to add to the game.

Doesn't really matter. You can't really ever use nuclear missiles to meet a military objective other than 'kill a bunch of them before we're wiped out by the rest.' Unless Iran goes North Korea and starts selling them willy-nilly to all commers then we have little to worry about other than them demostrating their newfound power by rendering some of their land uninhabitable. As for the oil? Good, we need to move on from dinosaur juice anyway. Let them keep their greese and we can push the limits of 'alternative' fuel technology until little Iran star whineing that is't their right to have that tech too.

Hey how about a virus or if yah can just grab one planet and push it in the way of the other, that's efficency. Or gate weapons, gate a bit of random space into his brain or an actual piece of the local star into the upper atmosphere. Gate a bit of the planet further along the orbit to slowly rip the planet apart. Or stick a permently open gate in their ocean linked to another buch of guys you want to drown, one dies of thirst the other drowns! Or just leave an open gate in a deep cave open to space the cave would be a death trap and their atmosphere would be gone, fun fun.

I've seen better, plus 'hot' (I refuse to spell it your way) isn't the thing I look for in my action heros, or sidekicks. Why wear a hot breastplate in the super hot dessert then leave your guts exposed, and upper chest! That'd better be magical armor that focuses eyes to the boobs and arrows to the few metal bits. What did we catch her at a bad time, did she just find the grievesand thought it'd be cool to limp around with hot raw metal chaffing her pretty little polygon thighs or was I right and she's only half dressed?
