The US Election, Part X
I was willing to call it last month. And the reason I gave Guard Dog why I want Trump to win. Oh yes! http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/89363-the-us-election-2016-part-viii/page-3?do=findComment&comment=1846695

Stranger Things. This was a fantastic surprise, absolute gem of a season. Definitely earns its 9.0 rating on imdb.

Anyone Invest in Fig?
I don't understand it myself and don't understand why someone would have money locked up for years, presumably gaining no returns. I would prefer to put money into property which I already do.

What You Did Today
First week of bootcamp is done. 7 more weeks to go. The instructors (about 4 or 5) are actually life guards and some compete in the ironman events. Training on the beach at 5.30am, doing push ups, sit ups, star jumps, running, more push ups and other stuff. I'm going to sleep well tonight.

Watched the BBC adaption of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None. Quite enjoyable and good to see so many well known actors in this.

What You Did Today
Spring is here and decided to start one of those Bootcamp Training groups that runs for a couple of months to get back into shape for Summer. 40 other people including myself turned up at 5.30am and thought there's a variety of people here. I should do okay since I've been doing some exercise over the last couple of weeks in preparation for this. I felt pretty good. Holy crap this was hard. Looks can be deceiving because everyone else was pretty fit, including the women. Coming 41st wasn't encouraging but at least I can't go any lower. Also, there were only 4 or 5 new people including myself. All the rest were returning regulars so I can understand why they're so fit. I've done similar bootcamps in the past but this was by far the hardest.

What You Did Today
Have to admit Calax, I'm a bit stumped on why you're going with the more expensive second hand car (~12K) than a cheaper second hand car (~2-3K). Burdening yourself with more debt on something I consider to be one of the worst things you could be putting money into sounds a little crazy to me. I would be taking the second option, get a cheap second hand car and save that extra money. But it's your decision.

Hooten and the Lady. This is a great show. Love it.

Quoting Azdeus here. You can't get an old second hand car? My first car cost $4000 and had it for a few years. Second car was a 10 year old Toyota Camry which lasted me a few years too.

What You Did Today
I agree. Quite a few years ago I had someone ran up the back of me. Fortunately for me he braked just before he hit me and his front went down and the front of his car went under my car.. Smashed his front good and proper just like Calax's car. While you couldn't see any visible damage (except for the bent muffler and a few scratches that already looked like they were there before) on my car, the chassis internally at the back was bent out of shape. When I took the car to the other driver's insurance company to be assessed, it cost nearly a couple of thousand to be repaired. To the visible eye I didn't notice it but the assessor showed me where it was bent out of shape. I thought it was no big deal, however, a bent chassis is a big deal.

Ran up the rear of someone? Tthe white car to the right in the first photo with the door open? Not sure how the car ended up on the footpath.

Of course it's Australia's fault that there are rapists in other countries. SJW logic at its best.
