I think that the handmaiden and visas marr are different romance/apprentice charecters ..one for light side and one for darksiders...female players just gets shaftet and only get 1 ..the deciple.

The Good/Bad wallpapers may in fact be wallpapers of the charecters you can train as jedi's.

The reason to why shes not using a lightsaber is that she probally Isen't a jedi before you meet her....after you train her she will probally use the good old glowstick of Destruction.

She looks like a Miraluka ..a race of humanoids that is born without eyes and see with the help of the force ..they normally cover their empty eye sockets ..like visas marr has.
