Something I just thought of If they do the whole Lightsaber Forms Shindig again they should give each form unique animations other wise it looses some of its luster. Perhaps even have unique stances and flourishes for each form although I personally think that lightsaber combat shouldn't be summed up into "forms"

I am not saying they should get rid of the good ole action turn based dealio, just make the fights look more realistic and true to what we have seen in the past 2 movies, also change the whole way feats are involved in combat I personally think they ruin things, you should be able to pick strategies for the fight not super moves that get spammed. I especially would hate if the game lost its RPG elements, I too love choosing abilities, skills, and force powers as well. As well as they not too linear gameplay. Oh and I just like Jolee cause I thought he was funny. Plus in The Sith Lords Chronicles they said he sort of a leader to a certain faction of "lost" jedi which could come in handy during KotOR III.

Also, I do hope they change the combat system as it is very outdated by now especially when you compare the lightsaber combat from that to what we have seen in the last 2 prequel movies. My suggestion is that they get Nick Gillard involved so they can really come to an understanding of what combat in the Star Wars Galaxies is really like. After all when they used Nic Gillard as a consulatant for the Episode III game it really made the game have the best jedi action we have seen so far in a game.

My ideas for the complete crew (where and when you meet them or get them to join you is based on your choices from the previous games) of the Ebon Hawk HK-47 (this is a given) T3 (also a given) Handmaiden Bastila Carth Atton or perhaps Disciple Then maybe 1 or 2 new characters Cameos: Canderous aka Mandalore Visas Juhani Jolee Mira Both Wookies This is really just a guess, in all honesty I usually finish KotOR II with MIra, Atton, Handmaiden, and Bao-Dur cause I like to play Lightside Male. In all honesty they probably need to make something like 6-8 different crew configurations so that it can Remain true to what choices you made in the previous 2 games For instance, if I did Light side Male Revan and Light side Male Exile. I would probably start out with the droids, Handmaiden, Atton, and Bao Dur, and possibly Mira (I personally hope she got stranded on Malachor). Then later on I would meet back up with Carth and Bastila. Perhaps Carth wouldn't be a part of the crew just an ally, especially since he would be an Admiral. Although personally I would want Jolee to be a part of my crew too, that old man makes me laugh.

Those bikes where awesome I totally agree with you on this. Especially if I can chop down infantry while flying by on a bike.

Has anyone noticed that LucasArts hasn't announced a new game in awhile? With the release of Empire at War sometime next week the only other title they will be working on (other than patching Empire at War) will be the expanision for Battlefront II. This is unusual cause they usually are working on 2-3 full games at once. I myself am expecting a new game title to be announced sometime this week and hopefully it will be the third (and probably last) episode in the epic KotOR series (if they plan to make a trilogy that is). We know from old press releases that they had a team working on KotOR III but then fired them for some reason so perhaps a new team has picked up the project.

I have looked at most of the robes in game and connot seem to find a match

Nevermind, i looked at it again and not even those look right perhaps the robes in the screentshot are some sort of hidden item or something.

Well after getting all the robes and trying everything out, even looking at my charcter sheet when wearing each robe as a dark jedi. The closest one was the padawan robes which dont look like the screenshot normally but when you see it on a character sheet with dark side mastery it looks about the same...which sucks cause I was hoping for brown on brown robes.

I thought these robes looked like crap. My favorites were the Jedi and the Dark Jedi robes I didn't liked the Knight and the Master robes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed on that but lets stay on subject. The only robes I haven't gotten are Matukai Apprentice, Baron Do Sage, Norris, and Padawan Robes.

I dont have a name, that is actually what I wanted to find out

Update: The problem seemed to be on Nar Shaada alone. Once I finished that world everything seemed to work properly.

I saw these robes in a screenshot on IGN but never found them in game which dissapointed me cause I liked the way they looked. Has anyone found this robe?Here is the screenshot:

Try all your characters, especially your weakest ones and then intimidate. I had Bao-Dur at level 8(saving exp for jedi classes) and when he intimidated it failed, but if you have all your characters above level 10 it probably wont work. So if you want to fight those gueards you can do 1 of 2 things: 1. Piss off the guy who is the head of the Exchange in the refugee sector and then u kill him and all his minions. 2. Let one of the Gammorrean guards(not the one guarding the entrance) see you unlock and steal some of their stuff from their containers and all guards will attack you on site. Eventually you have to purify the refugee sector of the Exchange anyway(if lightside) so might as well do it. Also, dont forget to tell Aida the path is clear after u kill the guards!

Well my problem seems to be with just lightsabers so far, I can still upgrade melee weapons and armor with no problem

This is a strange bug, I am currently on Nar Shadaa and I just got my lightsaber and everytime I put in an upgrade crystal in my lightsaber It shows that I have it installed when I am at a workbench but after an event or just even leaving the Ebon Hawk, it no longer shows on the workbench, However the saber keeps the upgraded qualities, it is a strange exploit but I am not one to cheat like that so if anyone knows a solution to the problem please reply to this thread otherwise at least I got the glitch reported.

Dude, what are u doing? All Tentamus has been doing is helping you and you start an argument with him over something like this... I mean how rude is that! Had you just read what Tentamus and I discussed you wouldn't even be talkin. But instead you go off and start flaming and being a jerk just cause someone has a different opinion! I hope an admin deletes this thread cause you don't deserve all the help you have been given. note: Not everyone at TFN understands the movies, in fact I'd have to say that the reasoning Tentamus came up with actually makes more sense than "George Lucas said so" if GL where on this thread right now he would probably agree with Tentamus and I, and our reasoning.

I understand what you mean and I actually think that analogy works pretty well, when he slaughtered the tuscans for a moment he became a monster and ever since then it has been down hill untill he becomes pure evil, so saying that when he killed the Tuscans was the point where he was being "let go" makes plenty of sense.

Hmmm, better check some other game magazines to see if this is true, either way I know there will be a KotOR III but who is creating it and exactly what it is going to be about I have no idea.

As for Anakin falling when he killed the Tuscans, I believe this is when Anakin gets a taste of the darkside, just letting his emotions take control and killing the Tuscans. I wouldn't say this is exactly when he "fell". Luke himself let his emotions take control when he went to help his friends in trouble, but that did not cause him to "fall". Now, I am not directly comparing the 2 instances, but in both cases the characters let their emotions take control. However, I will say that what Anakin did was ALOT worse in my opinion, like Tentamus said killing women and children was just plain murder. Anakin lost a huge piece of his humanity when he slaughtered them and while he did not "fall" all the way to the darkside, that is one of the biggest reasons why Anakin will later on completely fall to the darkside.

Yep! When you talk to Canderous in KotOR I he says that the Sith convinced the Mandalorians to start the Mandalorian War. Oh and i like your explanation of events TantamusDarkblade thank you for putting everything together for us.

It says nothing of them making lightsaber styles in the Star wars DVD...the only thing that has been said remotely close to it is in the Episode 1 DVD where Nick Gillard explains the process he went through making the basic Jedi style
