I've been married two years to the day. And I broke a tooth earlier in the week, which is really starting to hurt.

I was thinking about checking that out too. I think I'm due for a Band Of Brothers rewatch first. I just finished episode ten of season four of BSG, and I have to say that was my favorite episode of the series so far. I wasn't overly impressed with the first few outings of the final season, and I hated the reveal of the hidden four, but that episode I just watched totally made up for it. Now it's time for the finale of Homeland. I'm interested to see where it goes.

I think that Superman trailer looks epic. But then again, I thought the same thing for the trailers for Superman Returns. Even watching that trailer for the Smith flick scares me. It`s just the way that Shymalan presents his dialogue. It puts me off.

My wife was complaining that our room was freezing. An hour later the thermostat is cleaned out, and reprogrammed after a battery change. If I was smarter I just would have looked to see if her hamper was covering the vent, first.

I've spent the last hour and a half shoveling the snow pile so I could finish doing the driveway. After a ten hour work day, it's quite the chore. I guess it's karma for living in a condo for more than a decade and not having to shovel at all.

Personally, I love The Edge. Anthony Hopkins versus a bear. And Alec Baldwin. Plus Michael from LOST . I thought Skyfall was good, but there was absolutely no 'wow' factor in it for me. I was entertained, but never thrilled. I think, with time, it'll stand the test of being a good Bond film. Not superstellar or anything, but a solid entry in the franchise. I am currently on episode six of the first season of Battlestar Galactica. I caught an episode when it made it's first run, and absolutely hated it. Watching it now, in its proper running order has made me realize how late for the party I am. Hopefully five or ten years down the road I can do the same with The Wire.

I agree wholeheartedly. I thought the first three seasons were pretty well done, excluding the musical and the pilot. My God I hated the opening episode. Everyone was just so...wooden. I liked how they took their time with the other universe buildup, and it was nice how it was partially serialized and partly a monster of the week show. But last season didn't do much for me at all, and I am really really struggling getting into the new episodes. Brian Cranston may be hogging nearly all of the Emmys, but I've always thought John Noble deserved one. Walternate may possibly be my favorite tv villain. This list would probably change every three or four years. 1.Carnivale - I can watch this biannually and never get bored with it. 2.Band Of Brothers - Excellent, but man this one always makes me feel sad watching it. I'm overdue for a rewatch. 3.Homeland - Only a season and a half in, and I'm already hooked. Please continue to captivate me. 4.Breaking Bad - Five seasons and only one filler episode that sticks out. Great work, creative team. Brian Cranston could convince me to buy swampland in Florida. I was literally afraid every time Tuco was on screen. 5.Angel/Buffy - Each show got noticeably got better as time went on. That final battle at the Hellmouth was pretty epic. 6.LOST - That last season wasn't all that and a bag of chips. I loved convincing myself that I had a clue as to what was going on. Honorable mentions: Heroes - Absolutely captivated by the first season. What a let down afterwards. Spartacus: Blood and The Sand - It's a shame about Andy Whitfield. Kudos for carrying on, but it's just not the same. J think I liked the sheer over the top-ness of it all.

Oh man I remember that tv movie. It was right before the big witch hunt against D&D. As a nine year old I found it both very entertaining and scary. Up until Big came out I always associated Tom Hanks as the 'guy from Mazes and Monsters'. And as much as I hate the character, I kind of enjoyed a second viewing of Wolverine. My first impression wasn't that great. I still wish it was more of an all out battle with Sabertooth for the duration of the movie. I've been watching Arrow as well. I like it so far. I don't even mind that the lead hasn't quite found his stride (yet?). It's not like Tom Welling was all that impressive in the first few episodes of Smallville, either. I hope they have some superpowered baddies thrown in at some point.

I knew something was up when T-Dog had more than one speaking line in the show. Just finished watching the Total Recall remake. I didn't mind it, at all. I don't know why, but I really have a hard time enjoying any of Arnolds' movies anymore. Except for Pumping Iron, possibly. Now it's time to go have a smoke in the garage and get ready to watch last nights episode of Homeland.

Do you ever pick up any of the organic produce, Cantoeldar? Can you tell a difference is taste?

I liked the opener for the Walking Dead as well. The scene near the end with the leg thingy made my wife cringe. And she wasn't even watching it. Finally finished the first season of Homeland, and watched the first two episodes of the second season. It's a horribly slow buildup, but once it gets going, it really sucks you in. I'm about to make myself some fish and chips and watch the first three episodes of the final season of Fringe.

There is a fresh coat of snow on the ground this morning. Golf season, sadly, is over.

The scratch marks through my post were not intended. I was at my folks house, feeding their dog while they go visit my brother and his brood in the city. I must have pressed something on weird on his keyboard. They were involved in a little fender bender during rush hour traffic, but are fine according to my dad. It still feels weird communicating with them via text. My wife inherited my old phone when I upgraded mine, and she's struggling without a physical keyboard. I tell her, "If both sets of our parents can text, you're going to tell me you can't learn?". Silly woman.

We have a declawed cat at home. It's a total ****. We also have a baby chicken at the moment. The damn thing chirps pretty much every moment its awake. I'll be glad when it gets a bit bigger and gets taken to a farm somewhere.

I agree both sides are being greedy. And it's rather unfortunate that the people who make a living around the teams are feeling the pinch. What really pisses me off though, is that the owners went to the PA last year and said 'let's get cracking on this', to which they promptly replied, 'thanks, but no'. I can totally see why they're locked out. Cry fairness all you want, PA, but you had ample time to get cracking on this. It's getting ugly for the Oilers, too. On top of the labor strife, the owner has been pushing for a new arena to be built for four years, pretty much since he bought the team. Now it's down to the wire, both sides are getting cheap and threatening, and from the looks of things unless a deal gets pushed through, which will pretty much totally be on taxpayer dollars, it's a real possibility the Oilers will be done in Edmonton. The owner was in Seattle tonight with his upper brass discussing that cities new arena. I have no clue who I'd cheer for if the Oil left Edmonton. It sure as **** won't be Calgary, I can guarantee you that much.

Both sides will have egg on their faces if something doesn't get done. That's three strikes in less than two decades, isn't it? Hellalame.

I thought the episode was really well done. From the Crystal Blue Persuasion song being played during a cook to the graphicness of the prison scenes, I loved it. The change in Walter was kind of shocking, though. Well, maybe more dissapointing than shocking, for me. Part of what has kept me interested in this show has been the level that Heisenberg has operated at for the past two seasons plus. For that time it's really seemed like Walt is just a cover for his true, completely evil, counterpart. At least to me. It's gone from 'I'm doing this for my family' to 'I'm doing this...because I like it'. Either way, I wish that there was some higher honor that Bryan Cranston could get for the show. I knew he was a great actor before. His X-Files appearance from 10 or 15 years ago (was it longer? I'm getting old) told me he had some chops. I just didn't realize he was brilliant. I've been finding it harder and harder to find television shows that I can really get behind, and get excited to watch. There will be a void left when BB is done. Even some of the newer shows that I've enjoyed getting into lately, like Homeland, Hell On Wheels, and Strike Back have been good, but none of them seem to be an absolute must-watch-before-the-suspense-kills-me kind. And I saw a trailer for the Governators latest flick the other day. Just quit, dude. Clint Eastwood can pull off the aging leading man because he's Clint Eastwood. And can act.

I think the players took it up the bum pretty bad last time around. I hope they don't bend over this time. I find it slightly amusing that Bettman is implying that the current deal doesn't work, while it's the deal the owners mandated. Just get it done, folks.

I finally got around to seeing The Fighter. It was pretty good, although for some reason I think I'm getting a little sick of Christian Bale. Even though he was wicked awesome in that role. Currently three quarters of the way through season five of True Blood. It's so bad, it's good. And I'm slowly making it through the debut season of Homeland. It's really entertaining, and I like how the story is progressing.

I think Walt is too far gone to hope for any type of redemption.

After finally getting a chance to watch Sundays' Breaking Bad, all I can say is wow. Totally saw that ending coming, but it didn't make it any less shocking. And over the past week or so I've been watching Twin Peaks. I remember back when it aired how everyone was raving about how weird it was. And I can't really say why I never got around to watching it, but it's pretty good. Some of the time it feels like a daytime soap opera, and sometimes I'm amazed at how brilliant some scattered moments of it are. A scene from season two the other day where was absolutely wonderful. But it's also David Lynch, so some of it is just plain bat**** goofy. That reminds me that I haven't watched Wild At Heart in a few years.

I booked a flight for the missus and I tonight. Come February, we'll be frolicking on a beautiful white beach in the tropical climate of Antigua. Is it February yet?
