I just was paid about five times what I usually take home in a week. I earned my first bonus as a manager at work. My department just barely qualified, so I got about a third of what I could have made if I'd maxed out. And my income tax return was deposited this morning as well. It's a shame half of it is going to go to paying off my credit cards. Such is life.

I gave Sliders a chance. But every episode I tried to watch had Rembrandt singing, which immediately made me switch the channel. I loved the Lorne Green character on Angel, but gawd did I hate the musical numbers. My inlaws made us watch an episode of Shameless while we were on holiday. I might give it a look see.

I watched the US version of LIfe On Mars while on holidays. I enjoyed it immensely. Harvey Keitel was absolutely perfect as the chief. Has anyone watched the UK version? Is it any good?

I missed a 56 shot, comeback from 3-0 victory for the Oilers while on holidays. I had intermittent wi-fi, so I could listen to parts of games. And read about them. Which wasn't really that much fun.

When I had my broken tooth fixed last month it cost me nearly $400. And that was with insurance. I played a round of golf today. A nice 72 year old Englishman joined us. And used a pull cart for the entire duration, while my father in law chain smoked and drive a power cart. The course in Jolly Harbour has a beautiful layout, but the grass is in really ****ty shape. I'm not bitching, though. It's better than golfing in the snow. Spent the afternoon at the beach. I'm quite red now.

Today we went for a helicopter tour around the island of Monserrat. Our chopper was late arriving, and then after two minutes in the air our pilot turned around due to mechanical problems. We hopped in another, and then had an enjoyable aerial tour of the volcano on the island. I'm loving Antigua, and am not looking forward to the long flights home on Sunday.

Edmonton gets completely out worked and out shot by a 3-1 margin, but sneaks out a win. Two points is awesome, but come on, team. Play like you mean it.

We went to the market today. I've never had so many people ask me if I want to buy dope in such a short period of time. One was a very old Rastafarian who reeked of urine. Good times!

Honestly, the all inclusives in Antigua are retardedly expensive. Then you have to eat there for the majority of the time. My inlaws rented a duplex, so we just had to pay for our flights. We're also scamming free wifi from the people upstairs. But I must go, for I am in charge of burning the shrimp for our supper.

We spent the afternoon on the beach today. Glorious, clear water to swim in. Food is really really expensive here, though

I watched Argo on the plane. Wasn't bad at all, if a bit slow. The Problem With The Curve was playing as well. Despite being a huge Eastwood fan, this one didnt have a lot going for it. Justin Timberlake should stick to music.

I'm doing some last minute packing and errands before we leave for the airport. In 26 hours, I'll be in Antigua.

I've only caught a few of the GL episodes. Wasn't really impressed. Except for the steampunk one. It was good. I watched Bronson the other night. It didn't really go anywhere, but I didn't seem to mind.

Krookie, does Andy Green show much potential on the back end? I'm looking for another defenseman for my hockey pool.

They've made up their mind already, I think. I've liked season two, but I quite liked the smaller scope portrayed in the first more. And I totally agree, Oerwinde. Nightwing is great.

I'm pissed about Young Justice, too. I'll agree that it may be tops for superhero cartoons. Makes you wish they didn't do the five year jump between seasons one and two. There were probably a pile of great stories in there.
