Today was a good day for Adam Oates.

I'm a little suprised at the draft today. Anaheim has a suprisingly thinner blue line without Visnovsky. I was hoping Luongo and Nash would be moved. Hopefully to the eastern conference.

I'm just starting to get a smooth,(somewhat) consistent swing down pat. Now my problem seems to be my aim and alignment. I naturally tend to square my shoulders to the target, but my foot position is always way right. It'll give me something to work on at the driving range.

I read the book too, but I remembered it being more of Abe squeaking by the vampires, not going all ninja with his axe. I'm still stoked to go see it, though.

I got my first birdie in golf today! That only took three years.

I finally got around to seeing Prometheus last night. Visually stunning, even in 2d. The plot left me scratching my head a little. I dunno, I guess I was expecting something a little more...scary. Hopefully I can make it out to see Abe Lincoln:Vampire Hunter this weekend.

I thought that book became better and better the more I read of it. I quite enjoyed it. I found the Gunslinger a bit slow, but The Drawing Of The Three is a pretty great sequel, IMO. I've been plodding through the third book in the WildCard series, and skimming a bit of a Lovecraft anthology. Not really reading much, but making time to read has felt like a chore lately.

Seattle is a cool city, that's for sure.

If I had photoshop I`d totally put flames and stuff coming out of the sides of your RV in the first picture. And maybe mount a laser cannon and a satellite dish on top.

Just watched the Hunger Games with my wife. I wasn't all that impressed, but I'll admit I'm blissfully ignorant of the story. I've seen worse films.

I liked Cloverfield. Listening to Hud throughout the movie got old, but I thought it was a fun show, minus the first ten minutes.

If an eighth seed can take a three nothing lead in the finals, there`s a chance the team down three zip could come back to win. But it`s pretty slim.

I have no problems with the Kings being champs. I just wish it wasn't at the expense of the Devils.

This isn't looking good for the Devils. At all.

There's a press conference scheduled tomorrow for Detroit. Rumor has it Lidstrom is going to retire. I hope it's not true, he still is more effective than 90%+ of current defenseman.

They obviously want it more than the rangers.

Kovalchuk has really come a long was as a more complete player since his time in Atlanta. I wouldn't be stupid and call him a two way player, but he's so much better without the puck. As for the finals, if either team wins I'm happy. But I'm going to hedge my bet on the Kings in seven. There's at least a half dozen players on that team who have either won the cup or lost in the finals. That's going to make them hungrier, I believe. That's not to say Jersey isn't going to go for it, but I think the Kings want it more. Here's to hopefully a classic final series!

That's awesome that your team has made it to the finals, Krookie. Is anyone keeping tabs on our predictions? I think I went two for two in the last round with the amount of games being right in both.

I'm sure that coming within two wins of a Stanley Cup final appearance would be a positive for most coaches. How long does he have left on his contract, Volo?

If they make it past New Jersey, you mean.
