Last nights game was a Flames telecast, as opposed to the Oilers. I have forgotten how horrible an announcer Roger Millions is. Also, I realize Jay Feaster put together a stanley cup winning team in Tampa Bay, but listening to his interview during the intermission last night I now think he has a serious case of poo brain.

He's been dominant during this winning streak. It's awesome to see the kid line finally getting some breaks. As for Oilers being in the top eight, its a nice change from the last six years of suckage. Personally, I'd be suprised if they stay in and earn a berth, but manoman would it be nice.

It looks like Iginla is on his way to Boston. If so, I see them going deep into the playoffs. I won't miss him lighting it up against the Oilers four plus times a year. If there was ever a Flamer that I'd like to play for Edmonton, it would be Jarome. Or Al MacInnes in his heyday.

I wish Oates was coaching the Oilers. What he could teach the centers about face offs alone would be worth it. If Columbus made it to the dance, that would be something. I don't really care for the team myself, but you have to admire the way the bring their lunch pail to the rink and grind out consecutive wins. It's like watching the Coyotes minus the trap.

Sorry Krookster. I was shaking my head at Edmonton gassing a 3-1 lead to lose to the Sharks in a shootout. This shortened season could be bad for a few teams. I'd laugh if Washington doesn't make it.

Absolutely crazy game between Edmonton and Chicago tonight. The Oilers explode for 4 goals in the first, and barely survive to eek out a 6-5 win. I don't think Edmonton coach Ralph Krueger likes Nail Yakupov too much. He's benched usually after the second period.

To me, the best part of Argo was "Argo **** yourself". I watched Centurion yesterday. Michael Fassbender was his usual awesome self, but this movie was just okay. Nothing really special to see here.
