Ewen MacGregor, IMO, has done a good job with the Obi-Wan character. And I thought Heyden Christensen did a better job in Ep. 3 with Anakin. Natalie Portman still sucked donkey balls as Padme. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree, I think MacGregor did a very good job as Obi-Wan and Christensen did much, MUCH better in Ep.3 than in AOTC (He was still anoying at parts. Mainly the Anakin+Padme parts). However, I don't think anyone would have done a decent job as Padme. I mean come on. Look at the lame script she was obviusly given.

Sorry, but the Leia in slave girl outfit doesn't make the movie much better. Jabba's Palce sucked, Endor sucked, the only good parts were the Luke vs. Vader and the huge space battle.

Obsidian why was the game generally too easy?
The Elite_elite replied to MTJ's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
In both games I only died when screwing off. I do think KOTOR 1 was a bit harder it wasn't that much. (Then again I've never played on hard on either game since RPGs are for the story not the fighting) -
I saw ROTS yesterday and I've got to say, it was WAY better than 1 and 2. I really liked the dark tone at the end of the movie. Seeing the really put a smile on my face. (That's right. In movies I like it when the bad guy wins) When Anakin I grinned. (Yup, I'm a sick, sick man ) Now I'll give my over view of all the movies. TPM: 7.5/10 AOTC:5.5/10 (I'm being generous here) ROTS:8.5/10 ANH:9/10 ESB:9.5/10 (The Luke screaming no is what took away half a star for this movie) ROTJ: 6.5/10 (For the OT the movie really sucked. Almost as bad at AOTC)

That's a tough call. Could we be our own demise? And from a religious perspective, would God allow us to do such things? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, humans are already unique in all creation ( :D ) in that they change their environment. Oh, okay beavers build damns , but humans build cities and deforest whole continents and pump enough of certain types of gas into the atmosphere to cause global warming and enough particulate matter into the air to cause global dimming; just as the Aztecs should serve as a poignant lesson in the consequences of terra-de-forming (their capital city was 100 square kilometers in area), and evidence of life's innate ability to adapt (try and find it now without satellite infravision under the canopy of some of the densest jungles in the world!). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, I forgot that we humans are evil just for building places for us to live and trying to make our lives nicer. Don't forget that there isn't the possibility that global warming doesn't exist or that we humans are always the cause of it and if it weren't for us the world would be much better.

You see. This is why I hate threads about evolution/religion. I see some people who are nice and say, "Hey you believe that that's fine. However I don't" and then you have the "What!? You think that's false. You must be an idiot" kind of people. (points finger at Darth Vader) These kinds of threads really make me lose respect for some people sometimes.

How does Kreia know that...
The Elite_elite replied to The Yeti of 66's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That was in KOTORI. When during one of the loading sesions it says The true Sith died out years ago. Or something along that line. -
Can someone tell me when one of these online petitions actually did anything? From my expirence online petitions have never worked.

Dark Side easier ? I don't think so.
The Elite_elite replied to ukplankton's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I find it easy to be DS, specially on Dantooine. (Am I the only one who thought Vrook was an annoying prick?) Killing off all the guys, both good and bad. Give in to the Dark Side, it is the easy path. Remember, easy=good. -
Well, GTA never appealed to me. It's just I've heard from tons of people that each new GTA that comes out really only adds a small bit compared to the last one.

Just gave a worker to both Thorlord and Baley. Enjoy them.

Is this a direct quote from George W. Bush? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, it wasn't meant to be.

Much as I hate to regurgitate hype and gossip (as I haven't seen any of the next-gen consoles), I believe that the PS3 graphics are quite far advanced of the Xbox 360 (based on reviews of E

No polution? As long as my tanks can kill spearmen (Civ3 anyone?) I have to get this game. Finally, I won't have to deal with the global warming crap.

I don't give a crap if the PS3's games look better than the Xbox360's, I'm getting the next xbox for its games. Lets see, Playstation: Grand Theft Auto, from what I hear they're all the same thing. FF, never looked interrsesting to me. Will playstation have any decent online system like Xbox has? Will there be a Playstation Live that has download content and voice capablity? Also, Xbox, lets see, of course it'll have Halo3 (lets hope it's better than Halo2 was) and unreal turnament2007 from what I hear will be on the 360 and have online ability. Of course, the 360 will most likely have Jade Empire2 and KOTOR3. And, even though I don't care about backwards compatablity seeing as how I'm keeping my Xbox1 it will most likly play Xbox1 games. IMO Xbox360 looks more promising. EDIT: I've also heard some good things about Perfect Dark Zero. I'll keep my eye on that game.

I've already seen what the next xbox looks like. Just google it on the net, you'll find pics.

Usually about 6-7 hours.

do jedi kill their prisoners
The Elite_elite replied to dewaybe2678's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You do know that Luke lets Vader live, right? Anyways; both Revan and Vader did a lot of good before they were turned to the Dark side, probably saved at least as many lives and species as they extinguished- should the good deeds count for nothing then? Wouldn't you agree that that's kinda.... darkside thinking? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes I know dumbass Luke lets him live. Yes, they may have done good but they should be punished for the evil they did. So, I guess from your thinking if someone murdered someone else and then saved another person's life that they shouldn't be punished in some way or form? (P.S. Remember, there is a very big difference between killing and murdering) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Revan and Vader were human. Human's make mistakes. Everybody makes mistakes. I'm saying that everyone has the right to a fair trial- a second chance. Don't you agree? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Depends how big the mistake is. Lets see, Vader wiped an entire form of life (Prince Xizor being the last to die), Revan. He/she decieves a clan to let him go into the temple and be able to use the Star Forge (and a second time if he/she becomes dark again). And also if dark again kills the wookie, Mision, and possibly Carth. (though seeing as how Carth isn't in TSL when you make Revan a dark male I guess he hunts him down and eventually kills him) I say those are some pretty big mistakes to let them go by without any kind of punishment. If you give them a second chance they should at least be harshly punished. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Vader killed Xisor. The last of his kind, true... but did he wipe out the entire species single handedly? No. He finished one life. Yes. Don't you remeber reading in SOTE how his species was killed because of expirements Vader was conducting on his homeworld? Yes, he did do all that. Actually, I believe that Revan (unlike the Jedi council) did a great good by going off in the Manalorian Wars. I don't see how bringing the galaxy into a civil war would help protect the Republic from the True Sith though. If anything, that would have weakened them, and made them easier prey for the True Sith. BTW, I'm getting off for now so anything you say I won't see till later today. -

The Elite_elite replied to dewaybe2678's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I can't believe you people. You guys are saying the Jedi were wrong to do that to Revan when Revan was a murdurer! The Jedi should have killed him/her for his/her's crimes! Tell me. If you were Luke and had the chance to kill Vader knowing everything he did (Causing the death of Xizor's kind, killed Obi-wan in cold blood, ext) would you kill him to justify those deaths? Or would you do like the idiotic Jedi and let him live? I don't know about you but I'd kill him knowing that he did so many wrong, evil things. -
Would you buy KOTOR if it wasn't Star Wars?
The Elite_elite replied to Bokishi's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hey, the books rock (well, most of them). -
Most of the time I'm evil the first time (Did that with Jedi Knight and both KOTORs) and then light. Then I remember having so much fun being evil that I go dark again and have to force myself to play light.

You could upload chapters and not all at once <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd rather do it when I'm done writing the whole thing.
