  1. so? compare individual benefits o' occupied v. unoccupied-but-nevertheless-paid-for ignores fact is better to have more rooms being rented as 'posed to less. again, full occupancy and non-fungible rooms is gonna be factors, but rare is hotels, particular trump hotels these last couple years, full booked. HA! Good Fun!
  2. hotel rooms is, for the most part, fungible. precluding full occupancy or penthouse suite situations, pay for an unoccupied room is gonna be a boon for the hotel owner. bob shows up at front desk and wants room 2112 and only 2112. will not stay at the hotel unless he gets 2112? possible. unlikely. 2114 or 3112 will likely be just fine for most bobs... and considering how business has been down at many trump owned properties... HA! Good Fun!
  3. gonna go out on a limb and suggest gorth were keeding. HA! Good Fun!
  4. more basic is stuff described weren't in fact foundational tenets. poe were the first game o' a new ip. axiomatic that only so much could be added to poe, or any other game for that matter. subsequent titles in an ip invariable add features. again, am stating obvious. avoidance o' multiclass wasn't a foundational tenet for poe so much as a concession to pragmatism. were not enough resources to do multiclass in poe with so many classes. converse, an arguable foundational tenet from poe which were abandoned in the sequel were no bad builds. however, were impossible for developers to simultaneous add multiclass and retain no bad builds in earnest, though such a goal were still aspirational. poe2 limits on customization o' individual classes actual decreased the accidental failure rate o' single class builds in poe2, but from the start o' development, the obsidianites acknowledged that multiclass would create trap builds for the unwary or ignorant. heck, is again arguable that maximizing customization o' classes were if not a foundational tenet of poe, at the very least it were a goal. the developers never abandoned the belief that no bad builds and maximizing class customization were worthy goals, but once again pragmatism demanded its due. multiclass or ___________ were the oversimplified and repeated binary choice, and developers chose multiclass. purchasers wanted multiclass. original plan for poe2 multiclass were to do similar to d&d 3e with free multiclass choice at every level-up. a few boardies observed how such would almost certainly lead to insurmountable balance issues... which it did. that said, the reason why poe2 has a more limited multiclass scheme than d&d 3e is 'cause the balance notions which were at the heart o' no bad builds philosophy remained even after no bad builds were sacrificed to make way for multiclass... so either/or choice is not even as simple as we described. as such, would be more accurate to say that while no foundational tenets were abandoned after poe, concessions were made in an attempt to meet player expectations and desires. is also worth acknowledging that in poe we got classes in spite o' fact josh and other obsidian folks were not favoring a class system and we ended up with vancian casting in poe even though the original poe plan were for abandoning such. why did we get vancian in spite o' fact the developers thought per encounter were a better option? 'cause there were a flood o' nerd rage when it were announced vancian casting were out for poe. foundational tenets? not sure they exist in any concrete sense. HA! Good Fun!
  5. a high ankle sprain (grade 3) can take longer to heal than a break. 6-8 weeks for ordinary break and as much as 3-6 months for a high ankle sprain. is such a bs diagnosis w/o context. is just one reason we quit playing college football. come at us with a needle and pills 'cause our sprain hadn't healed enough in a couple weeks? fudge you coach. HA! Good Fun! ps am embarrassed to admit that what we got in common with rickey henderson and ab is not athletic talent but rather how we managed to get frostbite on our foot/ankle from an "ice" pack used to treat our high ankle sprain. technical were trainer's fault, but can't complete blame on her. same as rickey, we fell asleep with ice pack on and next thing we knew... still have the ugly scars from the blisters to remind us o' our idiocy.
  6. without castle doctrine, six hours would be fine. kinda straightforward that she shot the deceased and that she intended to shoot him with intent to kill or cause serious bodily injury. self defense requires belief o' immediate danger to self or others. with consideration o' the castle doctrine... *shrug* try and figure out juries will drive you insane. worse, is almost always disappointing to discover why juries actual made their decision. think you made a particular compelling argument and that you complete discombobulated the defense's expert witness? *suppress a smug grin which never reaches your face* get post trial jury interviews back and realize that it were the way the defendant would "squint" whenever the judge spoke to 'em direct which were the thing which decided the case for most jurors. HA! Good Fun!
  7. Maxine Waters: Trump should be imprisoned and 'placed in solitary confinement' it's kinda traditional to have a trial first. *sigh* oh, and in case it weren't clear, we personal would never have made it through voir dire o' the amber guyger trial. if we thought a person might be in our home before we entered, we sure as hell would not go in with a gun drawn intending to kill the intruder. what? have said multiple times we don't own anything which we would be willing to kill to keep and have given gd and others a hard time 'bout their belief that concealed weapons somehow increase safety in spite o' pretty much every study ever showing exact opposite. if we had a family to protect, then maybe we would feel different. the cop in this case weren't protecting her family. the typical da don't prosecute this kinda case, but this case were different from the start. say amber is deserving punishment 'cause what she did were unreasonable is one thing, but jury functional said they didn't believe her excuse that she were going into her own apartment. ... regardless, we wouldn't be quick to buy into conspiracy theories 'bout an intentional flub on the part o' the da. rare is a jury decision overturned 'cause they got it wrong. needs be mistake of law, and decide judge screwed the pooch seems mighty unlikely here, particular in regards to gag order violation. HA! Good Fun!
  8. Roquan Smith’s personal issue doesn’t keep him from Halas Hall is kinda shocking that the nature o' the personal issue has stayed quiet. more significant, am wondering if kolton miller and trent brown, the starting offensive tackles for the raiders, are having genuine khalil mack nightmares this week. HA! Good Fun!
  9. this were an emotional charged issue. as we noted earlier, is a gut level sense o' wrongness that an innocent man should be getting shot in his own home and nobody need go to prison. no justice. is rare for a da to pursue charges precise 'cause is so emotional. 'course this were too public and the da is an elected position, so... not showing 'cause o' democrat v. republican thing some people fixate 'pon, but am knowing some people instant think southern cops protecting southern cops is the norm. am not seeing sabatoge so much as a da being transparent concerned 'bout reelection. far greater chance o' initial ruling o' mistrial than o' overturn on appeal. mistrial would have hurt da, so conspiracy seems less likely. jurors were polled 'bout the gag order violation by a judge who were obvious incensed. no mistrial. all jurors said they had not seen the interview. chances a juror changes story later and higher court is convinced the brief interview swayed decision? maybe is wrong that such cases rare get tried. maybe. HA! Good Fun! ps more likely reason for mistrial is allow evidence which were arguable failing the probative value v. prejudicial effect standard, though trial judge usual gets benefit o' the doubt. the cop were on the phone when she were entering what she thought were her home. da introduces call to show she were distracted, which arguable would be exculpatory. the thing is, it were a sexual explicit call with her cop partner.
  10. thank goodness we can still laugh 'bout a wh story. is still hope. HA! Good Fun!
  11. YES! spicer comes out day 1 o' Presidency and equivocates about crowd size. looks kinda silly, but no big deal. spicer comes out day 2 and he is a pugnacious ball o' fighting fury and he tries to gaslight. of course the media covers overt Presidential lie. any other President woulda' got just as much coverage for such stoopid and obvious attempts to dissemble and mislead and change facts. and the administration kept on lying and lying and lying. every time media asked a question, trump and spicer and kellyanne conway lie more? thank you ms. conway. am knowing we will never forget the bowling green massacre. do you even recall how this went down? you think is not worth coverage 'cause is a small and petty issue? it's a LIE. it's a stoopid lie. and arguable worse, it were gaslighting. were such an obvious lie, but instead the narrative becomes alternative facts and the badness o' the fake news media, fake news which were accurate reporting trump lies? oh, and btw, you kinda miss point 'cause we got months and years o' previous trump badness in our post which had come before day 2 o' the Presidency. this were just another lie, but it were telling 'cause he couldn't even get through two days w/o gaslighting a nation. is why the sharpie pen alteration o' a weather map were no surprise to anybody. such monumental stoopid and unsupportable were the norm from whenever you wanna try and identify day 1. honestly stopped reading here 'cause... *shrug* you not care is why such a crude and vulgar parody o' a man who advocated overt unconstitutional could get elected. HA! Good Fun!
  12. am curious as to what counts as "day 1"? was day 1 when he had spicer go out and lie about crowd size? technical the lies 'bout crowd size started day two o' the Presidency, so you can feel good 'bout that, eh? maybe day 1 were earlier, before he became President, back when he were talking 'bout a muslim ban and making his pu$$y grab comments? can't imagine why the media would go after such stuff. blatant unconstitutional on the one hand and moral repugnant on the other. take your pick. earlier? back when he had already designated the mainstream media as the enemy of the people and opined that mccain weren't a hero because he got captured? pick us a day 1 'cause chances are trump were a walking nightmare o' lies and hate and ignorance from before that day. if media calling trump out for each lie and misdeed feels like overkill, is only 'cause o' just how often trump lies and attacks the Constitution. HA! Good Fun!
  13. who wouldn't? he were also married to farrah fawcett in the 70s. HA! Good Fun!
  14. Bradley Chubb's season-ending knee injury is 'huge loss' for Broncos well that sux. he looked fantastic during his rookie year. now admitted, we didn't expect the sack explosion from the broncos this years some folks were wanting from fangio. the bears, as hard as it is to believe, blitzed less than all but two teams last year. even so, with miller and chubb, we thought by mid-year the broncos would have a better pair o' edge guys than even the chargers who got two o' the top ten consensus edge rushers in the entire nfl both on one team. von miller, all by his lonesome, is a top five guy after all. oh well. acl is no longer career end, and is only partial, so will need wait and see and hope for the best.
  15. there was a decent movie in there somewhere, but were baffling self-sabotage. for example, am not sure what the purpose o' the daughter were. she starts out movie as an utter helpless waif who needs protection. same at end. her purpose in the film, as far as we can tell, is to add tension 'cause at any moment she may scream and reveal the family's location when they is trying to hide. anything else? after son leaves (that whole scene is bizarre, so don't even get us started,) she is is the thing tom needs be heroic for, so, there is that... maybe? tim robbins and the son? am not gonna get into how terribad both those characters were. sure, the tom cruise run has become a joke, but this were a beautiful filmed movie... at times. it were evocative and menacing. ok, but what else? the characters... am honest not certain what were the point o' the family in spielberg's war of the worlds in spite o' fact they were clear central. HA! Good Fun!
  16. real question is why... or why now? why try and get the australians to undermine their own reporting efforts now that trump managed to survive the mueller findings? trump and co were successful in selling conspiracies 'bout obama and the steele dossier to his core voters, so reality that the trump campaign were being investigated 'cause o' manafort's known efforts to get paid by russians and ukrainians as well as papadopoulos sharing with australians his belief that the russians were gonna provide dirt on clinton to the trump campaign is kinda yesterday's news. six or eight months ago and we get why trump does this push o' the australians. now? even if is no bribery attempt or implied/actual leverage, trump efforts does show pattern, which tends to make evidence more trustworthy. 'course as a few may be aware, fact the wh knowing attempted to prevent communication o' the ig findings o' a credible and urgent whistleblower complaint to Congress bothers us a little. gonna need find something monstrous and unconscionable for us shift our focus. ... this is where we typical add a joke, but no. complete serious 'bout how concerned we is 'bout the ig thing. am daily shocked by how alone we is in this. HA! Good Fun!
  17. am jealous o' the folks who never had such a job. had a couple such employment periods during which we would look back rueful/fondly on our previous worst jobs. we nevertheless sympathized with kelly. HA! Good Fun!
  18. john kelly kinda tried something like that. it were only during the hour of the wolf when trump were complete alone with his phone, which were why so many o' his bizarre tweets went out at ridiculous early hours in a day. then again, “This is the worst [expletive] job I’ve ever had. People apparently think that I care when they write that I might be fired. If that ever happened, it would be the best day I’ve had since I walked into this place.” @ManifestedISO rudy will claim attorney-client privilege... in spite of fact he will be asked about conversations he had with people who weren't his client. he isn't a member o' wh staff, so he can't use executive privilege. is gonna get ugly. HA! Good Fun!
  19. hypocrisy much? you do realize the vast majority o' such posts were responses to gifted posts, yes? you realize what you is doing at this very moment, complete divorced from any on-topic issue? *chuckle* heck, these daisy chains o' insanity only seem to end when is Gromnir who stops, though am admitted finding response to gifled fails a bit like trying to eat a single chip. but to stay on-topic, and relevant Washington Post marks anniversary of Khashoggi death HA! Good Fun!
  20. nose? no. am drying tears o laughter as our little bunny runs in circles. if you are indifferent to almost any murder unless is personal, then why imply we were misleading? you naughty little rabbit. am not expecting an apology btw. am expecting another math and/or simple read comprehension fail. am expecting indifference to murder and violence. am expecting to be surprised by the next brain freeze worthy gifted reason fail. aside, and am not sure why we bother, the russia thing has had any number o' reports which claims voters were swayed in numbers. the problem is proving the right voters in the right states were turned in enough numbers to have changed the course o' the election.... or at least such is prohibitive to prove. given russian efforts, is unlikely the right (wrong?) voters were swayed in enough numbers. again, proof o' effect is admitted problematic. however, russians were able to influence voters. their efforts, unlike illegals not voting, were widespread and coordinated and is unlikely it were a one-off. weirdness o' electoral college is in part what makes proof difficult insofar as the Presidential election, but we got lots of elections in the US. regardless, at this point, is no real question o' russian efforts and intelligence services is now unanimous in expressing concern regarding future elections... akin to climate denial for those who pretend otherwise. furthermore, goal o' the russians were always multi-layered. distrust in validity o' US the electoral process were always a goal. the russians also love a good false equivalency narrative. russian elections are rigged and subject to endemic corruption and malfeasance? well, look at the US where it ain't any better. illegals coming across the border and not voting... as 'posed to genuine concerted and complex efforts to affect US elections by a foreign power? somehow you see as analogous? run along little bunny. HA! Good Fun!
  21. so, gifted is angered by the possibility, unsubstantiated btw, o' illegal border crossers voting as 'posed to actuality o' any impact on elections? uh... russia interference is a nothingburger 'cause no impact on the election, but illegals hoping the fence and not actual voting in any discernible numbers does bother. which brings us full circle. thank you for illustrating our point so adroit, though we feel almost guilty. HA! Good Fun!
  22. we stated you were indifferent to murder of a reporter anywho... then again, we have once more entered bizarro world where gifted thinks failure o' any state investigations to uncover evidence o' widespread voter fraud as well as failure by trump's own transparently political motivated commission on voter fraud to turn up any evidence o' such after more than a year o' looking, is somehow supporting his contention that "anybody that can hop a fence can vote here." @Agiel if you told us a couple weeks ago that trump would make public threats regarding the whistleblower, we would agree such were possible, but we wouldn't have seen as likely... 'cause we mistaken keep thinking in terms o' reason. it wouldn't be in trump's self interest to public threaten, so... am admitting to being obtuse regarding just how unreasonable trump can be. HA! Good Fun! ps real reason for bother to respond to gifted were opportunity to post an otter gif.
  23. tongue-in-cheek recognized, however, according to full report, blunt force weapon. am recollecting in the definitions portion, discharge o' firearm must be actual or proximate cause of death to be counted as a firearm homicide. as such, use a shotgun as a club would also count as blunt force. 'course, it depends on how such were reported to fbi. fbi uses statistics provided by individual law enforcement. instructions to law enforcement would have pistol-whip counted as blunt, but if wilton county wherever sheriff's department doesn't bother to distinguish proper and simple lists all handgun deaths as handgun deaths, then errors will result. HA! Good Fun!
  24. agreed. maybe add a blood-red paint scheme to one end o' the rolling pin to make it look more sinister? https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2017/crime-in-the-u.s.-2017/topic-pages/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-8.xls blunt objects already beat rifles and shotguns for caused homicides. am morbid curious to know how many o' the handgun caused deaths would simple be replaced by rolling pin killings if we implemented your slight altered suggestion. HA! Good Fun!
  25. packers defense statistically is arguable better than 10th rank as the 10 rating is based on yds per game. use points per game and packers is rated better than 10. is only four games however, and one o' those games were 'gainst the bears offense. 'course the dallas defense is ranked 4th if we use points per game. will be an intriguing game... perhaps more interesting before teams actual take the field as both teams has a whole lotta questions to answer and chances are one team is gonna answer positive and one will answer negative. equal likely outcome is a defensive struggle which will have most fans asleep by mid 3rd quarter. HA! Good Fun!
