  1. just as title says.describe the playthrough of your characters (LS and DS decisions) for example KOTOR: Taris: Helped Zelka Killed Bendak,Selven,Matrik Helped the Outcasts and cured the Infected Outcasts Sided with the Beks Dantooine: Saved Juhani Killed Sherruk and his mandalorian raiders Destroyed Elise's Droid to make her gain a new life and a man Tatooine: Killed the Gamorreans plunderers Saved Tanis Recruited HK-47 made peace with the Sand people and met their storyteller convinced Jagi to let go of his revenge Kashyyyk: Saved Freyyr and tried to convince Chuundar about cooperating Exposed the slimy merchant found the truth about the dead wookie slaver trader and let Jaraak live. Liberated Kashyyk from the Czerka Manaan: Saved the young selkath and refused the reward made the sith go to jail convinced the Selkath Jury of Sunry's innocence became Sector Champion and helped Queedle with a investment investigated the Arhkert station and destroyed the Kolto machine to 'save' the giant firaxa Korriban: Returning to the Dark Side due of the manipulation of the Republic on my character killed the Renegade students Persuaded Yuthura to tell her story and gained her trust Told Uthar about Yuthura's plans(as it remembered a situation of Revan) worked with Lashowe for the Holocron only to kill her and take the holocron myself talked to Ziagrom about a possible alliance with the exchange and the Sith once Revan will become the dark lord once again. Uthar Wynn swore loyalty to Revan Dustil is alive and returned to Telos Darth Revan:I am Darth Revan, bow before me Uthar:"ah,i see,So Darth Revan is not dead as we were led to believe, yet you're not Revan, are you?what happened between the time of your reported death and now i can only guess it,but you've changed much. your destiny does take you away from here,to confront your old pupil, yes, that's what lies before you go then to your destiny my Dark Lord(bows)i Shall say nothing of what happened here, but if you prove to be successful and wish to return, then i and all Sith shall be your servants" Lehon(Rakatan Homeworld) Double crossed the One,sided with the Elders and later slaughtered them Rakata Elder Councilor:Quick Revan you must go to the Star Forge and destroy it,your former apprentice feeds on its power. Revan:"You Fools, you think i'm going to destroy the Star Forge?" killed the Mandalorians and delivered the head to the warrior chief of the Black Rakatas chose to accept Bastila's offer to reclaim your lost identity and power, her becoming Darth Revan's apprentice and Lover Slain Malak and reclaimed the title of Dark Lord of the Sith made Zaalbar kill Mission Kept the Star Forge Final Squadmates chosen:Canderous and Bastila
  2. the machines are prone to betray their master, their loyalty is questionable since they can be reprogrammed (i think that's what she meant)and that macnines are dead to the force Bao doesn't give a memory wipe to T3,it just checks if he's alright(with a dex bonus outcome)
  3. dude you should necro 9 year old dead topics the convo was about Kreia's opinion on machines, since the exile had the same passion for machines as Revan and wondered why Revan liked them so much
  4. strength\dex\constitution\wisdom\charisma\intelligence starting values are 13,but it's dangerously low if you are on Taris or the other planets set it to 20 the skills start from 0-1,but if you set it so low you won't be able to do nothing
  5. easy, the starting values are 13 and go high as 30 (very high) if you want, you can set it to 20,it's high enough and still in the 'normal' attributes if you want to be invincible you can set strength,Dex,Wisdom and constitution to 99. if this helped drop a like
  6. just use the console to set back the values to normal for example first select the character you want to modify(character you have currently control of) setstrength xx (where "X" is value, max value is 99) settreatinjury xx if you used KSE to give yourself or party members talents and powers just go the npc>charactername(ex;Mandalore)>traits(if non-jedi class or you want to remove only traits from the jedi class) npc>character>class>Jedi Guardian\Consular\Sentinel >Powers (to remove Jedi Powers from jedi classes) if you gave them 'secret' powers(skills available only to certain character like Wookie Toughness, tick "all powers and traits" to show all the powers if you have used cheats in KOTOR 2 TSL i recommend you to use KSE since KOTOR 2's console doesn't show text(the commands work, only the text won't show). if you have the console successfully enabled type the Tilde key or ' if you have the european\italian keyboard and try to move your character,if he doesn't move it means the console works and you can type in,if not change the keyboard to American
  7. i played it for 6 months to see if it was worth it,it wasn't. i tried nearly every storyline, the Sith Warrior was the only one that i liked a bit and finished to level 50.after that,i abandoned TOR the JK story is an injustice to Revan so i will never start it. but there's too much crap between, the levelling is slow and it's a grindfest,i got bored pretty quickly the companions are boring and shallow lack of innovation is what this game suffers the most from there aren't many things to do and many are grinding mobs, immersion is broken easily it's a terrible game aside from the ****ty treatment of both KOTORs,of course agree on story classes, though,it's the only thing that actually TOR didn't screw up It took you six months to realize you didn't like the game? You got all the way to level 50? Oddly enough, I agree with most of your complaints, and I probably played about as long as you did (although I rarely played past the first act with most of the classes.) But the game did keep my attention for a decent amount of time and so I think it's weird to bag on it. I enjoyed it for what it was. no i actually tried to give the game a chance.the storyline of the Sith Warrior took me so long because i got bored after a hour of endlessly walking from a point to another, which usually was on the other side of the planet filled with hostile mobs on the way that i had to fight,as i leveled up the enemies got far stronger than me and i had to be 3 levels more than these mobs to handle them as i should,i gave up,since i kept dying against mobs of my same level, there was no satisfaction as you got stronger and got higher level,no feel of accomplishments giving a purpose to level up and face these mobs again until level 10 i could take 2 Strong mobs getting out of the fight with 60% of health remaining at level 50 .same situation,i get out of the fights with 30-40 % of health left.even with good armor purchased with planetary commendations and best mods that credits can buy for that level (for example 10.000 credits).not counting the artifacts without mobs it would take 5-10 minutes, with mobs 40-50 minutes, that's how i kept never doing side quests or doing main quests,it was boring doing the fightning for 40 minutes just to get a 5-10 minutes max conversation and boss fight i wanted to know how good endgame content was,but i was surprised how little your storyline counted outside the green instances(green walls to progress the story).you became the 300.345 sith warrior running around,it broke the immersion then when F2P came they removed most gear from my character because he needed an "authorization" (microtransations) to unlock wearing the artifact gear that i legitemely obtained during flashpoints and planetary bosses.are you ****ing serious? they removed from my character more than 1.000.000 credits that i was sparing because i hit the Preferred Cap of credits even getting an extra inventory slot requires you to use the goddamned bloody microtransations or pay or getting a medical probe to respawn there and don't lose 30 minutes of walking and mob grinding?**** you give us money the mobs AI suck and that's the laziest part of the game, the developers throw everything at you expecting to survive filling every single corner with hostile mobs thinking that was fun if it was only certain areas it's ok,but roam Alderaan to find Kellick bugs soldiers or rival house soldiers and droid everywhere, static, barely separated 5 meters from each other designed that you can't sneak or find another way out of fightning 3000 kellicks to get where you have to go respawning after 4 seconds because the game is so lazy
  8. i played it for 6 months to see if it was worth it,it wasn't. i tried nearly every storyline, the Sith Warrior was the only one that i liked a bit and finished to level 50.after that,i abandoned TOR the JK story is an injustice to Revan so i will never start it. but there's too much crap between, the levelling is slow and it's a grindfest,i got bored pretty quickly the companions are boring and shallow lack of innovation is what this game suffers the most from there aren't many things to do and many are grinding mobs, immersion is broken easily it's a terrible game aside from the ****ty treatment of both KOTORs,of course agree on story classes, though,it's the only thing that actually TOR didn't screw up
  9. but the rants are on "Videogames and Console" and it's easier for people to reply there than leave it here to rot where only very few users reply to this board or it's because rants aren't welcome and was purposely left to rot? (just asking)
  10. i'm really concerned about it,it would be a disaster if it spreads even more it's not to be underestimated,it would be a big mistake fortunately there are no cases in my country, but if they fail to keep the quarantine,it would be catastrophic honestly i think that Ebola is going to be stopped before it will reach us,but who knows what's going to happen i just hope they apply security high enough
  11. look,if in the final release of the game there are lines of dialogue 'hidden' specifically mentioning Omega's mission to get it back.it's content cut for DLC and it wasn't an early script,it was barely a month before the game was supposed to be released then due of the leak, many scripts got reshuffled and EA gave bioware 3 more months to remove all traces of it.
  12. so i wanted to open this topic to ask opinions and questions on ME4 general thoughts. 1)you're going to buy it? 2)what do you think of it? 3)how it will be?successful or fail? IMO 1)Maybe,if the game is good enough 2)it will be an average game 3)for me it's not going to oversell or fail,it will be an average seller what about you?
  13. Besides the day one DLC, what do you think is cut content? Omega was intended to be visitable, including the omega mass relay and a second voyage from it(there are cut lines of dialogue between Aria and Shepard in the unpatched vanilla game) and the beta script had insights and a mission on the reapers(Leviathan of Diz) the only content that wasn't cut was the Citadel DLC and the EC
  14. The only problem with a female Exile is that Disciple is terrible. The Handmaiden is Kreia's daughter, for crying out loud. Edit: Is it just me or does that sound like Wil Wheaton with something caught in his throat? it was only rumored,it was never confirmed, and now it will never will
  15. that's why i always help Vaklu.he's loved by his people, fought in the mands wars and cares about his people and his history because he cares about the identities of the Onderonians and about Onderon itself,if Onderon is controlled by the Republic, their culture would water down to the point that they will be the same as the citizens from Corusant.Vaklu doesn't want that,he wants for Onderon to be indipendent again. if you ally with Vaklu,he will forfeit his alliance with the sith because he sees you(the exile) as a very powerful ally,Vaklu is no fool,he sees the benefits and he explains you that he never trusted the sith. once Queen Talia is dead,he promises you that once the rebuilding of Onderon is done, you will be welcome on Onderon and can use it as a safe haven against the galaxy hunting jedis and you will be remembered as a hero. i find him a more suitable ruler because he has a strong will,he's smart and naive like Queen Talia Queen Talia, while good, she's naive, and she would more prone to be a slave to the republic i don't like much Colonel Tobin, there's something slimy about that guy,but as long Vaklu keeps him under control nothing will go wrong. The reason I side with Talia is because it is emphasized how Onderon is vital to the recovery of the Republic. Plus, I think Onderon is the one supplying flora and fauna for the Telos Restoration Zone. Someone says that Onderon withdrawing from the Republic would be a huge blow for them. Plus, all of my playthroughs have been LS and there's no way to side with Vaklu without having to kill Kavar. i roleplay that my exile convices Vaklu to help the republic(not being part of it),as far as i know, trading doesn't require being in the republic,so extraordinary but temporary collaboration with the republic would get the same effect so that the republic can count on Onderon The Ithorians' goal is outside the Republic, and i don't think Vaklu wouldn't allow to take few plants and animals from the surface(after all, outside Iziz is all jungle/forest)just because they're helping a planet inside the republic space Vaklu still sends help in the battle on the Citadel Station, you don't understand it immediately, but he's a good man. yeah killing Kavar while siding with Vaklu is a major gripe for me,why he would defend a queen? he's the friendliest of the jedi masters,i don't want to battle him,i just wanted Vaklu to rule Onderon i don't like Kreia's final prophecy on Onderon, she says that Vaklu will rule briefly and thrown in civil war(again),it's stupid, why the dumb Talia lives 'happily and forever'? Vaklu is not evil or he doesn't want to screw over his people i would accepted it if it was Queen Talia:Onderon's inclusion in the Republic has aided the republic, but it will destroy Onderon's culture and the planet will be in a long recession for many years due of the debt of the republic Vaklu:King Vaklu will rule and live long to see a golden age and a strengthning of the onderonian culture, but his missed help to the Republic may prove fatal
  16. How dare you use that name here. I'm sticking with my headcanon where that's a brainwashed handmaiden. works a lot better than the 'canon' explanation well,in my opinion Revan works more as a DarkSideMale, for me is the best,no annoying Carth romance, get rid of Juhani,be the Dark Lord of the Sith and get vengeance of the foolish jedi who dared trying to manipulate you Bastila is my choice(battle meditation=win),but that's fine if someone wants Carth/Juhani or nobody,i don't care. i have a bad feeling about this...
  17. it's too bad because that character(Kai leng) had potential and i heard that was totally different in the books he used guns and knives and instead of being a space ninja he was a total badass, written the same guy who did the first game's story but in ME3 this hack came from another universe to destroy ME's ME1:i agree on the minigames, but the combat for me in Mass Effect wasn't well developed, but still kind of enjoyable,i consider it my favourite because it's more 'tactical' than more focused on the action the companions weren't so bad,Wrex was good IMO the best part of it was the story, none of the other two had it like in ME1 ME2:well,i agree, the minigames still weren't good enough, the character development was great i disagree on the 'variety' for me the missions weren't so varied,it was mainly (main/n7/majority of sidequests)a shooting gallery from point a to point b with occasional rewards, with some fetch quests (Fish,Normandy Engine FBA,kitchen supplies and the drink for the doctor) and several actual side quests in ME2 they started adding the 'eavesdropping fetch quests',like the salarian on Illium, but you actually talk to the quest giver unlike ME3. i disliked the combat since it was more changed for TPS introducing 'ammo' and more prone to action. ME3:already expressed on that one,but KOTOR 2 had problems because Lucasarts wanted them to launch the game a year before they could finish it,so it's justified,ME3 instead had 3 extra months of development and all they did was a big mess the dlcs are actually criminal in this case because 90% of the dlcs were ripped off from the original game i agree with you on the dreams, they were terrible and annoying i don't have high hopes for ME4,it will never be the great game we loved(unless you enjoyed all three)
  18. Have you got a 'Broken very very broken on the portrait of the companions? you have the vanilla game without patches or tslrcm?it can freeze frequently, crash, bug out without them have you the Mod 'TSLRCM 1.8.3'? or what mods do you have installed? the cheats, unless you used them to **** up something,it should be fine try to reload a save before you got into the polar academy(where the HK-50 shot your ship down) on the basics you gave me,your game looks corrupted in that case you have to get a previous save and continue from there your saves should be in the documents folder(windows)/games/SWKOTOR 2/(it will come out a number) AUTOSAVE,SAVE_001,SAVE_002,SAVE_003 and so on i'm not familiar with Mac computers, but if there's a search function, search for AUTOSAVE,it should be the last automatic save, and then search the number of your current saves(If you saved 50 times (ex),search for SAVE_050)
  19. here's the real exile :Jedi Jesus btw i've really used this one as my canon jedi exile same dialogue decisions (Vaklu) How dare you use that name here. if i need to be honest, i don't this style, this 'exile' is horrific,it's just lazy npc stock model and the name is terrible.it sounds wrong just this guy's opinion this is just outside my opinion on the canon
  20. that's why i always help Vaklu.he's loved by his people, fought in the mands wars and cares about his people and his history because he cares about the identities of the Onderonians and about Onderon itself,if Onderon is controlled by the Republic, their culture would water down to the point that they will be the same as the citizens from Corusant.Vaklu doesn't want that,he wants for Onderon to be indipendent again. if you ally with Vaklu,he will forfeit his alliance with the sith because he sees you(the exile) as a very powerful ally,Vaklu is no fool,he sees the benefits and he explains you that he never trusted the sith. once Queen Talia is dead,he promises you that once the rebuilding of Onderon is done, you will be welcome on Onderon and can use it as a safe haven against the galaxy hunting jedis and you will be remembered as a hero. i find him a more suitable ruler because he has a strong will,he's smart and naive like Queen Talia Queen Talia, while good, she's naive, and she would more prone to be a slave to the republic i don't like much Colonel Tobin, there's something slimy about that guy,but as long Vaklu keeps him under control nothing will go wrong.
  21. 1) Character development as in skills and level up I agree. 1a) I disagree. If you compare to even IE games you see that it have a lot of C&C and dialogue moves forward. I mean, it's not all the time, but really, it never is in any game. "False choice" is part of branching dialogue, no matter what. It's Called giving you a chance of RPing, even if the conversation have to move on in a specific way. 1b) True. 2) I actually liked the beginning of the first and third game on the first time I played. After that, not so much... But I think it did a good enough job. The ending of the first 2 games are very well done, giving a nice closing feeling but leaving it open for the next one. The beginning of 2 was the dullest to me, with all the "Sheppard must die and you must go with cerberus **** if you killed them in every chance you had in the other game. But the story must go on, so... forgivable. The ME3 ending, well... 2a) See above: 2b) I agree about Tuchanka. The Krogans are a really special part of the ME story. 2c) I don't think ME2 was the villain. I think it was the way they present the story on ME3, very linear and interaction-lite. I mean, Sheppard talks for the most part without your input. That's lame. It almost became a cut scene game, with no choice at all. 3) I didn't. 3a) I really disagree. I think ME1 was my favorite, except for the ****ing elevators. ME3 scenarios felt like corridors with only one thing of interest. ME1 had the best feeling for roaming around and getting quests. 3b) I didn't. It was just fetching quests and you couldn't even ask about the motivations or the mission itself. "Hey, this guy forgot his wallet in reaper space. I'm a nice guy, so let's go get it! I won't even tell him, 'cause the surprise will be worth it!" 3c) Vega feel very out of place in my opinion, compared to the other companions, even the companions of other games. Allers almost didn't have anything to share, just her love. Meh. 3d) WHY THE HELL THEY PUT MP IN THE GAME? 3e) I agree about Javik, disagree about day 1 dlc. My favorite ME is 1, 'cause of the feeling i had when playing for the first time. It was awesome. ME2 was a better game overall, even if i didn't like the direction they took (less RPG more GoW). ME3 made me really fight for finishing it because of the whole "play itself" narrative. It was the biggest disappointment I had with it. Anyway, sorry to use your post as the base for mine all right it's my time(again) to post ME1 was the most detailed for me 1)it had Sovereign and Saren, the best villians of the series, hands down 2)it had pseudo RPG elements that gave a little more immersion to the game, like being able to customize the armor of your squadmates 3)i agree that the mako was clunky, but it was better than having no exploration at all 4)side quests in this game weren't so abundant, but they were nice (Terra Firma quest,Doctor Michelle(i think that's her name) blackmailer, some hovewer weren't so good 5)the Citadel was the best of all three games 6)it had a proper merchant system(with persuasion lowering buy prices and intimidate raising selling prices) that sold upgrades, weapons, armor, alien armor, grenades 7)The story was the best, very detailed and good moments 8)it had Wrex 9)it had actual non-combat related abilities 10)it gave me immersion that the next two games never managed to achieve 11)it was less focused on action and more on dialogue these are my personal points for ME1 now i'll reply to yours 1) i don't think so,there was a reason for those abilities to remain, they could have been improved instead of being cut 1a)agree on that one 1b)i see the minigames as a way to stop from the action, again, they could have been improved 2)The first part of the first game was amazing, showing you the solar system as you go to the bridge and then you see your character watching on the pilot ****pit that was epic ,the second game's beginning i felt meh and wtf? no matter what you have to die so two years could pass and justify why there's a new ship,a new crew and new gameplay mechanics that was the only part of ME2 that i actually hated,i was kind of WTF when i was forced to be in cerberus, then i moved on and the game was great, the third game's beginning felt exactly what i espected it to be,a build up to immediate action then the autodialogue and the forced action sequence confirmed my fear. 2a)i agree on that,Kai Leng, the space kiddo and deus ex machina, but the story felt tied on together so bad, felt forced. 2b)yeah,tuchanka is the only part that i remotely liked, but it got covered by dozens of plotholes and bad plot devices in the other parts of the game 2c)this is kind of interesting,i used to blame ME2 for ME3's problems, but i realized that actually was ME3 that wasn't doing its work, the lead writer was the same as the second part of ME2's main story,so Mac Walters is to blame. 3)if those changes were done well,i wouldn't complain, but,oh man, those changes were done so badly, that if i were to write them all,i could stay two days writing them and there will still be things to talk about 3a)i kinda liked the elevators, instead of a loading screen (LOADING....),there's a small dialogue exchange between companions,it was kinda neat,Bioware could have improved it 3b)completely agree RodWarrior 3c)Vega was bland and very boring,we should have got Wrex as Squad member,Allers is just a waste of space 3d)i dunno dude,i was annoyed as much as you are. 3e)yeah,Javik was one of the two squadmates that i liked, but a prothean cut for Day one DLC in ME it's insane. ME1 was my favourite too,ME2 actually took like 5 steps foward, but it took 3 steps backwards too.
  22. That's exactly what I thought you said earlier, so I did get it But that has nothing to do with this being a joke "rant" and that is what I was explaining to Qistina, she mustn't think this is a legitimate rant. You mean this is not real? that's cheeky and you know it I assumed she wouldn't get it because somethings are lost in translation and English isn't her first language. She also seemed to be asking a real question. But I may be wrong, maybe she can confirm ? It was a real question, but now i get it, thanks But in anyway, generally i don't really understand what KotOR 2 is about i. Kreia want to train Exile to become powerful like Revan ii. Kreia to destroy the galaxy by destroying the Force and she hate the Force How these two mix? What exactly Kreia want? She sacrifice her hands for the Exile, in the end she want to destroy everything? Kreia wants to manipulate the Exile to destroy her former apprentices, bring balance to the galaxy and then destroy the force
  23. You're asking for opinions? I thought that you where making numbered statements. i made that clear in my first post.it was the reason i made that post it was to ask your opinions(genuine, not the mockery) then my bad,i apologize to you all,i wasn't aware of this still there no reason to mock me because i arrived later i know what you mean, but i would rather ignore it than mock the guy,(in my opinion) let's get restarted, shall we? can we be friends (to anyone that posted)?
