  1. Nice work! I didn't read through 19 pages of suggestions so I don't know if this has been mentioned, but here's my suggestion. I have been playing as a cipher and a mage, and one of my problems with these classes is how AOE works, more accurately when the spell is foe AOE and when it is just plain old AOE. There doesn't seem to be any kind of logical or coherent rule what makes a spell foe AOE. Examples: Fan of Flames, and Ghost Blades. What I would like see is spells that are bursty, fast, explosive, physical effects are AOE. Spells that are slow(caster has time to control it), hopping(why make it hopping if it doesn't hop to enemies), or mental(caster has a connection to the souls of his/her companions) are foe AOE. Only really high level spells would break these "rules". Also, currently the aiming circle for AOE is made of two circles. Inner one where everybody get hurt and outer one where only enemies get hurt. I think aiming circle should be one circle only and let the spell specify if everyone or only foes get hurt in it. Edit: TIGGER WARNING: S-Word! I think my example is just one of many where the game mechanics seem needlessly complex. Someone should streamline them a bit.
  2. I'd like to see romances as a 5 million stretch goal. Just to see promancers go: "It will never happen, but it kinda could happen, but it will never happen."
  3. That's like pure magic. Even when the guy shows the solution I still don't get it. My brain says it's not possible.
  4. I do think there needs to be something for our Watchers to show what they went through in POE. Like "You're the Hero of Dyrwood. You get +2 resolve."
  5. Yea, I don't get how stealing part of your soul suddenly makes you forget how to swing a sword or sing a song. Lorewise, your character's powers are soul based. That means getting soul drained is the equivalent of level drain in D&D, except Eora is piss poor in term of soul restoration magic as the first POE game showed (aka it has none and everyone screw things up the moment they start to play with souls). Also, remember that a bîaŵac kill most people and that steal souls from a bodies...except the Watchers, they still end up on their asses and get weird visions because of it though. Indeed. They have set-up an entirely in-universe plausible reason for this, it fits in with the given lore easily. Actually they do have a legitimate reason for it plotwise, it's called bad writing. If a kid writing an essay at school had written a story about a big bad giant climbing out of a hole and hitting a character with a nerf bat while devouring his soul he'd probably fail. I certainly don't expect this level of writing from Obs. I am really not opposed to starting with a new character at level one who has to deal with Eothas, but really this is just silly. At any rate I'm not going to keep harping on by it, it's a done deal. As said, I will still play the game, I've just dropped the pledge by about 2/3rds because this childish writing does not bode well. That's it. The game still will get funded and do well I'm sure. Just not off me. It's not called bad writing, it's called bad premise. Even then how good or bad it is is matter of taste. I have no problem with it.
  6. If I tie the shoelaces of the giant statue of Caed Nua in POE together, do I automatically win in POE2?
  7. The one on the left seems to be dual wielding pistols. Do we get to dual wield pistols in POE2?
  8. If there was a profession where ineptitude was a requirement it would be game journalist. "Time, how does it work?" "IDK, just post it now LOL." "LOL KK."
  9. Obsidian could do Fallout series set in Europe. It would be geographically far enough from Bethesda's Fallouts so they both could do their own thing in peace.
  10. Finlands inheritance tax is quite more severe. There's even the possibility, in some rare cases, that you have to pay the tax before you get the actual inheritance, which can really **** you over.
  11. What's my proof you might ask. Well, gather around kids and let me illuminate you with my big and shiny logic: Louisiana starts with the letter "L". If you turn it upside down it kinda looks like number "7", like in Seven Dwarfs. Boom! Minds blown! That's the important part. Everything else is just smoke and mirrors.
  12. What a **** move. He should have shown some balls and turn himself in.
  13. Looks like soviet farming simulator where you get to choose who to resurrect: Lenin or Stalin. Set in future with space combat and total freedom of what kind of waterfall you get to build.
  14. This is appalling patriarchy in action. Just because she's now a woman doesn't mean she couldn't have served the sentence she got when she was a man. There's no doubt in my mind that she would have actually served her time better now, but she was robbed the chance to show everybody that women are better than men, because powers that be, i.e. patriarchy, got scared.
  15. I do mean that literally. I don't think Mycroft would make such a stupid decision. It doesn't make any sense.
  16. Also, for me past two seasons have started to treat intelligence as superpower instead of something more grounded in reality.
  17. Does the banging have quicktime events? I mean, it kinda breaks my immersion if I can't fail at banging.
  18. Better than the MacGyver reboot.
  19. Don't mind if I do, handsome.
  20. 1) Boomerang guy had surveillance boomerangs (which he used to spy on Incubus). He was also a fair fighter and shown to be able to break into places, so not without some skill. All of those are things those no-name SEAL guys could do. Well, not with boomerangs, but, like, they could have a surveillance drone or something. Did they show that? I might have dozed off at that point.
  21. I saw Rogue One today and I would rate it as second best Star Wars movie after Empire Strikes Back. I even got bit teary eyed two times: and "red leader, gold leader standing by" scene.
