It helps to raise aggression in the pacifist.

The biggest problem, as I read it, is a race-relations oriented one. It seems that the poorest people (who couldn't afford to leave) are more likely to be black. And the police and emergency services were more worried about "keeping order" than rescuing people.

And what about that girl that said she had a bomb in her carry-on luggage and was arrested?

Boy, you guys have a lot to learn about rip-off prices. To purchase a monthly train ticket from the commuter belt of "Greater London" (which incorporates the Home Counties), it is upwards of

I played one of its ancestors on the PS2 (PS?), I remember getting right into it, then I sorta got stuck somewhere with the entire map open to explore, and I sorta did something out of order (if that is even possible) and it didn't let me, or something. Anyway, after palying it for about three weeks straight, I never touched it again. And if I never see a chokobo again, it will be too soon.

Ah. Okay. Now I likes it. (See wasn't that simple?)

KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
metadigital replied to Fionavar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
So, does your K3 PC go on quests, or sit back at Jedi/Sith HQ and send others on quests? Sounds like you are requesting a SW Galaxies MMORPG, not a RPG! -
What he ^^ said.

Well, I was talking aggression. But not violent bullying. Aggression as in not passive. As in desire to take rather than be taken. Violence is not necessary for aggression. And aggression can be carried out without violence. (Aggressive move in chess, for example.)

That is because we do not talk on an instant messenger application. Linkie?

Very good. This in no way is an invitation to do me. I shall muster up the strength to write one shortly. Even though I have never seen one of these funny cards that you mentioned.

It's called testosterone, the hormone produced by the testes. (Females produce it too.) One of the direct consequences is aggression, or a "win at all costs" attitude, whatever "winning" implies. I have encountered more than a minority of cases of females who are aggressive; I would conclude they have high levels of testosterone in their system. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, that is a really bad popular misconception. What I am about to post is true for adult men as well, but I found the article for adolescents first, so that's what I'm posting, if you dig around I'm sure you can find similar results for adult males. Adolescent males with high levels of testosterone show to have positive social interaction, and low levels of agression, and vice versa. I am not sure where the myth that testosterone = bad started, but it is a damaging one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Um, I'm not sure what you are disagreeing with. I said that testosterone made for aggressive people that wanted to "win at all costs". You produced a study summary (without any details, but that's not your fault: I'd like to see the data) that stated testosterone didn't imply violent behaviour (negative correlation, even), but that it was a good positive indicator of success. I also mentioned that I knew many females with such a "win at all costs" attitude. I was not implying that I know a lot of females that are physical bullies! I wasn't making apologies for violent behaviour, either. (I was just being a smart-ass by answering Gorth's invitation to elaborate.) So, I say testosterone = win at all costs, and you say testosterone = success. I don't see the difference, personally.

You are dodging the issue. The point is that there are limits to what can be said in (US) society: no absolute free speech. I think you will also find that the British civilization is one of the freest in the world. There are many instances where "Mullahs of Hatred", who can't speak English, have been living at the taxpayers expense (with their extended families, for twenty years or more, receiving free cars and so forth), whilst preaching their litany of enmity and that the West should die. If that doesn't belie the accusation that Britain has free speech, then I don't know what does. You are also ignoring the fact that no law can be perfect: it is not possible to legislate for every criminal act. Laws that are less "defined" allow for more freedom of interpretation by the judiciary, who we assume will be able to interpret the law to its "reasonable" extent. No system is perfect, however. Advocating absolute free speech may solve the "indefinite law" problem, but it doesn't solve the "incitement to hatred" problem. My feelings are that neither system is perfect and both have benefits and penalties. You are attempting to measure them to come up with your answer.

That's pretty clever, actually, Calax (in a ghastly psycho-killer kind of way). What was the context? Were you writing a "how to" ..?

I think one of the greatest devices for change in the world was Dynasty. Seriously. Do you know how many people in totalitarian states, once they received satellite tv, saw the endless coastline of mansions (with pools glistening in the warm sunshine) in the credits? Acting as a beacon of what-could-be, this helped the rest of the world see just what capitalism and democracy can provide.

He loaned it to you without the manual? (Anyway, just hit Escape / help / whatever. Check out the key mappings. It's not rocket science.)

Isn't that the MMORPG ?

Okay. But what does MDK stand for? I can't get excited about a game when I don't know its real name (personal limitation).
