  1. I'm struggling to see any real benefit from the "real-time conversation" system, aside from "Wow! The options change depending on how long you take to answer!"; it doesn't really add much to gameplay, and it COSTS a lot of development time. You are adding another dimension to the game: a timer for conversations. And another overhead to manage. How many branching plots were there in NwN2? And that's without adding this extra dimension of complexity.
  2. It had a great premise, though: if only it had some more range.
  3. Penguins aren't cuddly.
  4. Poor planning.
  5. Just? As in just before you posted it?
  6. It's a boy who sells favours.
  7. Does that make you a rentboy?
  8. That should have been the first line. :D
  9. I can't believe you wrote all that without any punctuation.
  10. Well, kirro descrived it, eventually, too.
  11. ... And descrive it.
  12. It's all moot.
  13. You're just jealous.
  14. I played the demo and thought it was promising, though the available secret base equipment wasn't enough to overcome my ennui brought on by the repetitive gameplay: I felt like I was trying to empty a leaky boat with a sieve.
  15. Oh, yeah: they're toast. :D
  16. Did I mention that, if you can't be bothered to build that PC yourself, Vadim will build it for you, for
  17. A verbal contract is still a contract, too. It's just harder to prove in court, as some people are prone to tell fibs about what they said previously, and recall can sometimes be a little sketchy. But, it is still a contract. The only way a contract can be voided, outside the parties agreeing so, is if it breaches common law.
  18. Think outside the box. Or, rather ...
  19. Calax, are you posting under the influence again? What does this mean? ;huh: Why should the government of 400 million people listen to one person? If you have something that relevant, you can organise a political rally and lobby your local member: then he can use that groundswell to lobby on your behalf (otherwise the member will be shouted down by the majority of other members). Part of Big Business's political clout is based in their employing (read: paying) a large amount of the constituency.
  20. Let's hope these new arrivals are treated with more respect than the recent ones ...
  21. And thus we conclude that Dragon Age may or may not be promising based on the available information.
  22. I think that was the top-of-the-line mobo before the Asus took the crown (in Custom PC's view); certainly not a bad mobo at all. I think the better availabilty of PCI-e slots was a big factor, as well as the fact that the Asus P5B Deluxe WiFi-AP allowed Core 2 Duo E6700 from 266MHz to 360MHz (the highest the magazine team had seen).
  23. You're just disappointed that it isn't Prog Rock. The setting is more resonant for a US audience: the "Wild West" or Frontier environment allows for a lot of familiar archetypes (quickgun, prodigal preacher, etc etc).
